Defining Racism

The word "racism" gets bandied around a lot, and has become so commonly-misused as to almost lose reasonable meaning.

1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.

People are entitled to believe whatever they want, but posts containing any sort of commentary that actually meets the literal definition of racism are subject to removal as an "extreme T&C violation". So let's not go there.

Yes, that can be considered "censorship", but members upset at such encumbrances are welcome to post racist sentiments on any of the many other forums on the Internet which exist for that purpose.

ATS isn't one of them. Let's please bear that in mind.

Are there poor Mexican Americans? yes. Is there class warfare by the wealthy against the poor? yes. Am I afraid, as a white, to live in or pass through Mexican American communities? no. Am I afraid to live in or pass through black communities? yes. For whatever the root causes of the problem, I now avoid any large gatherings of blacks. Black Expo had 11 shootings in Indianapolis last year (black on black). I carry, I know how to shoot, I practice. Mobs, law of the jungle, only respect strength. And with all our internal problems, our government is fighting five wars no one wants.

If you are talking about the African race, then I'm embarrassed you dare put that Bible up for a profile.

If the culture, that's another story. But bare in mind not all of Africa is Savages. Yes, sky scrapers do exist in Africa.

Also bare in mind what is barbaric in Africa is the product of the combined influences of bad Islam, Bad Europe, Bad Catholicism, and bad culture. If you want authentic African culture, go somewhere that wasn't colonized or abused. I seem to see Ethiopia, other native cultures, and Australia's aboriginals doing pretty dandy.

They are trying to kill people.......shooting them is self defense. And yes, it will disperse the crowd. It's a shame the only way to deal with them is violence, but less face it, talking and understanding and common human decency is lost on them.

This is the perfect arguement for pro gun ownership, if it were known that the general public was armed better than many of the militaries around the world it would act as a deterent against these little (insert word of choice here) Little pussies arent so tough when they go up against a real force to be reckoned with.

I posted awhile back, now I have read the 18 pages worth of posts and found my earlier post to be validated.

While some people try to work with other users in this thread to discuss what are the causes of this event, looking to gain knowledge in hopes to find the ultimate truth on the matter, many other posts follow a different path...

This thread is proof that the Machiavellian strategy of Order through Chaos is still working just fine.
While you and I fight with each other and other ethnic,religious, or idealogical groups, the people whom are truly responsible for setting the stage in which riots, murders, corruption etc. get to keep on doing what they do best.

Okay -- I agree not ALL of Africa is savages.

But, let's, for example, say it's dark ... approaching midnight, and a disaster/tragedy struck (earthquake, tornado, mass water-main break, bridge collapse, angry flash mob, just to name a few) and you had to abandon your car and walk 2-miles, taking an entirely different route home, one you never took before, especially on foot. Let's say you HAD to make a choice between either of these ... walking down Martin Luther King Blvd OR walking through an all-White trailer park.

Which would you choose?

Racism is alive and well in the Black community. If it had been White people doing the attacking it would have been portrayed as a racist hate crime, yet when the Black "Youths" do it, rarely, if at all, is it considered a hate crime. The blatant double standards know no bounds. There already is a race war going on, and it is NOT Whitey who is doing the instigating.

I used to be a carefree, easy going person who didn't have a racist bone in my body, even to the point of dating a Black Lady, but over the years having been personally subjected to black violence on multiple occasions (I still have the scars to prove it), I am now at the point that if I were to be called racist, it wouldn't bother me in the least.

I fear that things will eventually come to a head, and that an all out race war will start. As it is now, there is only one main aggressor, but White people can only take so much before they get to a point where they need to defend themselves from the onslaught of violence directed at them. Perhaps that is what TPTB are hoping for so that they can institute martial law.

That depends. What's the type of people in the Trailer park? What the type of people on Martin Luther?

I can talk to people whom are aggressive but have a mind. Most trailer folk don't know common sense nor have their wits about them. I've had some of the most epic conversations with homeless blacks and others on such places.

I completely agree, if your going to act like rabid animals you should be put down. Race has nothing to do with it. Just lucky I wasn't there, I get angry when people are bullied in front of me.
