Anyone in the western NY area catch sight of any unidentified flying objects!? One Brian Titus claims to have along with 10 other witnesses. For all those "photo or it didn't happen people" we are in luck!

From the article :

Brian Titus says he was at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, when he saw something rising behind a hill in Vestal. WBNG E-News - Sign Up For Our Newsletter! In an email, Titus wrote, "It sat there for about ten seconds and then it shot up like a bullet and vanished." He says at least ten people saw it happen. Minutes later when he was coming home, Titus saw the U.F.O. again. During this second sighting, Titus snapped the picture.

So what do our local experts think? Looks clear as day to me... saucer shaped for sure, too good to be true?

whoa...hello!!!`first one to say "frisbee" or "pie tin" needs to take a better look.

i just checked the file info, and there's no sign of this being touched in photoshop...sorry, debunkers

wow. seriously people, there's like 3 or 4 of these kind of sightings occuring on a daily basis now.

that pic looks legit, can't wait to see where this goes. it's only a matter of time until the sheer power of numbers make UFOs (discs in particular) completely un-debunkable.

to echo what everyone else is saying right now, something big is coming soon. i'm feeling it, we're all feeling it; and some form of public disclosure would really be the icing on the cake, if not just to put irrational bullyish 'debunkers' in their rightful place.

s&f! thread of the week.

Agreed! Idk what it is but it doesn't look like either a pie tin or frisbee to me! Granted, this wasn't taken by the News outlets photographer, but one would think (hope?) they'd give it at least a peripheral glance for authenticity and rule out photoshop / image manipulation... although perhaps I'm giving the local news branch more credit than they deserve....

i beg to differ.
allthough i´ve got absolutely no, zero, nada skills in CGI or any other photshopping tools.
i think the disc looks blurred to the rest of the surroundings.

but ofcourse someone will chime in and assure me this is a Tesla forcefield or something of the likes

waiting for others to chime in...

ETA:

after seeing the enlargement i'll kindly take my words back.

one thing that bothers me though is that he took this picture when he was on his way home or back home.
nothing significant enough to call hoax or fake though!
just rambling my initial thoughts
posted to fast, i apologize

So if ten other people saw it at least one should have got some video phone footage of it , and as this happened on the 1st it should be on YT by now , unless ten other people didn't see it and it's just another Hoax .

First of all S&F and thank you bringing this to my attention.

Second - The professional debunkers sure have their work cut out for them but I know they won't let us down.

Somebody please give us all a reason not to believe this.

I'll get the ball rolling.
It is clearly swamp gas.

Some people will say anything to keep people from accepting the obvious.

edit to add: Damn they're quick.

Do you really have to be a professional debunker to notice that there are many common objects this UFO could be? I promise, I don't debunk for a living, but this photo is not proof of anything conclusive.

Why only one photo? I would be snapping pictures as fast as my finger could hit the button. If there are more photos with different angles, I'll take an interest in it.

My future father in law, who I would say is a typical middle aged man, said that on the 31st of July he was out on the back deck talking to his sister due to that fact that his brother died that same day. All of a sudden he looked up into the sky and saw what he would describe as three lights that looked similar to the scene in "Its a Wonderful Life" when the galaxies talk to each other. He said it was three luminous orbs that blinked twice each. This touched him because he thought that it was a correlation between his now pre deceased father, brother, and nephew letting him know that they were together.

I live in Wallkill, NY, about 10 miles from Pine Bush which was considered by some to be the Roswell of the Northeast. UFO culture runs deep in that town due to many sightings.

cool picture and all, but it's just too easy to fake these kinds of photographs and it has been for half a century....

I opened the image in Photoshop and after zooming in there is a rather obvious circle under the UFO. Is it a watermark type thing or part of the original photo? It is incredibly pixelated also, including the surroundings which makes it imposible to determine "real" in my opinion. Being such a low res this could have been drawn in pixel by pixel lol.

it's okay to jump to conclusions, natural reaction. no different to the guy who says the picture blurring is tesla fields yadayada.... i also have little knowlege of photoshop so can only go on my gut instinct (which to me is the fact the entire picture is a little pixellated, looks like it was taken on a lower-end cellphone) which tells me that it looks about as real as anything is going to look. the 10+ witnesses (if true) would render the photoshop argument irrelevant anyway, so let's wait and see how that turns out.

gonna check out where all the rumored D.U.M.B.S are around that area and try and call some friends up north to see if there's any more dirt on it.

but seriously, how many UFO pics/vids have actually been officially debunked? i'd say about 5%. the dome of the rock thing just got forgotten about and swept under the carpet it seems, the fact that all it takes to validate burying heads in sand is for one person to say 'it COULD be swamp gas or an RC toy or a chinese lantern' really proves the massive confirmation bias when it comes to this whole area. most people are just not prepared to accept the potential implications of the truth, simple as that.

Does anyone ever noticed that when ever we have a UFO sighting made up of written testimony or a still photograph its "clearly a UFO" performing "impossible maneuvers" and it quite oftens ends with "and then it flew away at incredible speed" but when we get video its allways just a fuzzy dot slowly floating about the sky?

please enlighten us to this huge list of common objects that look exactly like that and are able to fly/pull off high-speed maneuvers as described by the multitude of witnesses. unless of course, you have so little faith in humanity that you are straight up prepared to disregard every eyewitness account without any further knowledge on the subject.

somehow i get the feeling if you heard the accounts from these people in real life you would not be so quick to disregard them. but of course on the internet, all UFO witnesses are automatically acid-crazed attention-seeking alcoholic lunatics

When I first looked at it, I didn't quite buy it. Though it's a strange image, spooky that it's so damn clear. When they are too clear, it always sends the alarm bells ringing, though that's only because I've been conditioned to recognize UFO's in videos and other media as blurry specs of light flying around with no real quest or reason in the sky.

Well i'm so used to pictures being posted of dots with no reference points I almost didn't look at this. Not sure exactly what this object may be but I noticed a couple of things

The image 'seems' to be in it's original size as it would be from a cell phone. (Only assuming that is what was used)

Mr. Titus is participating under the comments section under the article if you have any questions he might actually answer. Get your info straight from the source. He also has a facebook page although I do not wish to post based on privacy and i'm not certain that is an allowed action.

I could easily see an object like this being in front of the treeline (not behind) if one changes their perspective. We only assume it is in the background because it was called a UFO so it must be at a distance. Not saying this is fact, only an observation.

This is however, one of the 'most' believable photos I have seen lately. This is of course, early in the report and much can come to light in time.

Not bad but as always, we must proceed with caution

I'm not denying that it's an interesting photograph. It is a little curious that he took just one picture. I would like to hear the testimony from everybody else however.
