The trait is genetic, and so is the habit, as in the habit of wearing hats.
Quit wearing ball caps and heat producing hats because I've noticed friends and family members that have worn ball caps are much more bald than their siblings.

Shave, shave, shave. Since I started losing my hair in my mid twenties, I kept it as short as possible. Now for the last twenty years or so, I shave it completely. Do not worry about it. Dress to suit and you will look cool. Trust me, you will be surprised as to how many women love a smooth head.
If I was given the chance to get all my hair back, I would give a resounding NO.
Keep yourself in shape, dress well and you will look as cool as F***.

Hi guys, I have a question: Is there any cure for baldness?
Veterinary digestive disease researcher Dr. Million Mulugeta had no idea that his research on mice might one day effect countless millions of human beings and the world as we know it. Dr. Mulugeta and his team were were studying digestive function in mice that coincidently suffered with alopecia (hair loss) due to an increase in corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF), a compound that seems to play a role in how the body responds to stress. When the team injected an antagonist, a compound that blocks CRF, once daily for five days, the mice regrew all of their hair. It was a surprising response that lasted for four months.

It's called a hat.
I still have my hair, and wear one every day. If I should go bald, I'll be prepared.
Nice thing is you get to easily customize your look.

There's a cure for baldness: accept it. Just as women want to get skinnier, don't bother. You're just fine the way you are. A lot of people think the presentation of the human form is dictated by Hollywood, commercials, and the like. I think that's total BS.
Just accept who you are. There's no legitimtate reason to change it. If you're gointg bald, go bald. Shave it off. Don't buy a bunch of chemicals to put on your head to conform to an artificial concept of beauty. That's stupid. It's like women putting silicone implants in their chests. Don't do that. Just be proud of your breasts. They're fine. Trust me, and every other guy on the planet. They're fine. Don't mess with them.
People need to stop messing with their bodies and just accept them. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Stop trying to artificially mess with them. You're far more attractive if you just say "this is who I am" than if you jump through hoops trying to conform to a society that only wants your money.
Be proud of yourself if you're bald. If you think you're fat. If you think you're boobs are too small. Be proud of it, and don't feel like you're less of a person if you don't fit "the model". The model can go to hell.

i would like a cure. it depends on what the cause is. i'm 20 with a receding hairline because my body makes excess testosterone and its destroying the hair follicles. if the cause is extra testosterone, you can take finasteride to stop it, but it won't cause hair to regrow.
