I just watched a Stooges special (75th anniversary) and I forgot how funny they were. Oh what a nice distraction from studying and the war!!

From a simpler and funnier time. They are certainly classic, and I dare say the whole world could use an entire afternoon watching them!

if i had to spend a whole afternoon watching television, and on top of that the three stooges i would probably go crazy and go on a shooting spree. television is going to be the downfall of this country and should be outlawed.

I could not agree more. And Ageis as a guy who claimed a long time ago to be a male stripper by trade (which I doubt since you spend alot of time on this site when a stripper would be working out) you have alot of room to talk about TV being the "downfall of this country."

I love the 3 stooges. They just dont make comedy like that anymore. Of course it was a very violent tv show in a sense, so ....

The 3 Stooges were my favourite comedy team growing up, I never tire of watching them. Funny thing, whenever I mention them here in the UK, no one seems to know who I'm talking about.

Here's a true story: in about 1975 a friend and I were driving in the Fairfax district of Los Angeles. My buddy says to me, "Hey look, there's Moe Howard!" I looked over and sure enough, there was Moe walking down the street. Incredibly, he still had his signature soup bowl haircut, except his hair was white as snow. My friend stuck his head out and did a great rendition of one of Curly's classic gags as we drove by.

I love the Stooges, I almost forgot about them! I haven't seen them in so long, it was a Sunday morning tradition in my house growing up. I'll have to pull out an old tape and pop it in. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk !!

Great comedy: and a fascinating and often sad history if colleagues want to search the Stooges: Moe and Curly the mainstays.
