Did anyone else see it? in order to validate what this journalist saw? the only reason I ask is that we must cover all angles especially those that are planned in order to fulfil agendas.

when I was listening, someone had texted in to say that they too had been driving in that area at that time, and they too had seen a similar thing, thinking it was too bright and too early to be an aircraft landing.

Makes a nice change hearing this stuff on the radio. I just e-mailed them to say so too. I think the more positive feedback they receive the better, may even give the subject more airtime. Maybe more people will start looking at the sky, stars and such and thinking about it, more people wake up, come here, sort the wheat from the chaff. It's all good.............till the nut jobs take too much airtime........lets hope they screen callers.

Here's hoping!

According to The Sun, the police had not received any reports of a UFO.

www.thesun.co.uk...

Well-respected sports reporter Mike Sewell relived the moment he saw the disc-shaped craft zoom in front of his car as he drove across the countryside in darkness at 4.15am.

Mike, who lives in the Midlands, was driving to Stansted Airport to catch a flight to Sweden, when he saw a UFO with flashing lights around the outside above him in the road.

Hertfordshire cops said they had no reports of a UFO.

Mike told how he had been driving behind a VW van when he saw the craft in the sky.

What I thought was weird was the last few sentences of the interview.

The guy saying we've had the ability to go to space from reverse engineering a long time ago.......

To me... this is all just apart of "disclosure"

slip in stories here and there in the MSM and it will eventually lead up to something larger.

Steven Greer and his disclosure group said the same thing. 'We Have The Technology To Take ET Home' or words to that effect. It was about time it was admitted on a mainstream outlet. But I'm gobsmacked BBC actually put a report like that out. Maybe this is the start of government disclosure on UFO's and Aliens. Or maybe this is the start of a possible Alien False Flag Invasion. Remember the BBC is the government mouthpiece.

Reporting anything to the police is generally considered a waste of time.

We have been victims of several crimes, reported them, cos it gives more accurate crime figures, no other reason. The police even tell you that nothing will be done. A scene of crime officer even told us to get our own justice utilizing a baseball bat. I doubt I would report a sighting to the police, I think few people do or would.

More on this on the Daily Maill site

Why don't these people stop and take a relatively decent photo... one from his phone would've done. By all accounts he had a really good gawp at it for several minutes... and he's a journo.

Nice! glad to hear a story like this on the BBC. I believe that if more and more people who listened started taking an interest and spoke to friends then to their friends then to theirs etc, then more sightings would be reported, more people would sky watch, more people would start buying merchandise to do with the subject and when almost eveyone stops laughing at the believers and start saying 'Wait a minute theres more to this than crazy people and chinese lanterns', then when the government try to crack a joke and laugh off UFO's like they normally do they will be met by a crowd who think the 'joke' has gone on long enough and to me disclosure would HAVE to happen then.

Honestly, i think this could be the start of disclosure. They start off with getting more viewers to believe, then more, then more until everyone.

Hopefully someone's recorded it and will upload it. There's a member, UFOradio, who archives UFO-related audio and there's a good chance he's on the case.

In England we can't South Parks online; P2P or wait for the shows to hit this side of the Atlantic.

Yes yes, I have it. Working all day on this, just extracting the UFO bits and there were in fact 2 shows but I will later process the other one. Stay tuned and big greetings to Kandinsky.

It was interesting to hear Tony Robinson and John Challis views about the subject
In a way intense show after a long time. For those who are not aware, Tony Robinson played charachter Baldrick in classic BLACK ADDER sitcom and John Challis played Boycie in classic ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES and GREEN, GREEN GRASS sitcoms. Reason why they included them in debate is because Robinson worked on documentary series Unexplained:
www.telegraph.co.uk...

...and John Challis was involved in BBC INSIDE OUT about UFOS last november:
news.bbc.co.uk...

If anyone has copy of that BBC INSIDE OUT with Challis please send me a private message.

Stay tuned.

I heard the show live this morning , I really don't see why people on this thread are getting so exited by this , Disclosure ? ,,,,Really ?
The only reason for the show was because a BBC sports reporter saw something he couldn't identify and happened to mention it , I bet he wishes he'd kept his mouth shut now .

I have no idea what he saw but the fact he was about 15 to 20 miles from Stansted Airport is a fly in the ointment as far as I'm concerned .

In about 1990, Nicky campbell had a guest on his Radio 4 show claiming he'd worked at Area 51 and was disclosing all sorts of info. He was a well spoken Englishman that sounded somewhat credible and the show was even repeated a few months later. I rarely ever listened to Radio 4, but managed to tune in for the original airing and rather bizarrely, for its repeat.

Early last year 'The sky at night' had a UFO special on and while there was something of a light-hearted feel to the show, it did contain some curious comments. One guest suggested that perhaps we shouldn't be looking into the skies for aliens, but in the DNA instead. The show ended with Sir Patrick Moore saying something along the lines of: 'So will we ever make contact with other intelligence? You know, I have an eerie feeling we might!'.

Interesting stuff.

I know... I mean, this show was only on Radio 5 Live. It's not like it was on a proper station, like Radio 4.

Some supporting evidence would have been nice as well.

All the best,

Isaac

Ok here it is:

Download link for Audio:

Only UFO references are extracted in the link above from the 60-minute BBC show. I am working on this from the morning. They were also 2 follow-up shows. Will post those later, it will take me some time to process them.

Some of my recent similar reports:

Interesting comment by reader on the Daily Mail article (credits to Dave Haith for this lead). 54 comments so far:

In 1974 I and my friends saw a large UFO at about 07:00am, it was bright and sunny when this very long object appeared flying low, it seemed to be following the power lines between three pylons, as it got near we could see that it was as big as a 747, it stopped and hovered at about 60 feet above the ground, and about 50 yards in front of us, it stayed like that for about 2 minutes, then suddenly accelerated upwards at an enormous speed and disapeared from veiw, what was erie about this object was that NO sound came from it, even when it sped off at a great speed! I phoned the Norwegian air force and told them about this UFO, and two weeks later an officer of the Norwegian air force and a civilian payed me a visit at home, they told me that I had not seen anything, and that I must stop telling people that I had seen anything, but I and my friends had seen it!
