I attended a lecture where Professor Hynek projected the original "3-D" image on a planetarium dome. The object in question was extremely small; the
fact that it registered on both frames of the 3-D camera rules out an optical aberration. Although very small, the object appeared to be solid. Its
size was so small that it was at the limits of the resolution of the film emulsion. All of the reproductions of this image have not only been
magnified to the point of uselessness, they are clones of the image scanned out of a book using the photogravure technique of the time, which
introduces further "static." I am convinced that Hynek considered this sighting to fall within the "one half of one percent" of sightings that are
"inexplicable." This was undoubtedly his "conversion experience." Unfortunately, the original negatives have never surfaced. Isaac, I'll send you
a U2U with potential further developments.
