WBBM Distorts Child's Interview Edits Kid's Remark

News team edits out the kid's final answer making it sound like he's a young criminal to be.

That was pathetic, despicable, disgusting, and outrageous. It really puts a spotlight on how much control the media, no matter how big or small-time, can skew our entire impression of the world around us.

Instead of giving us all hope that, out of tragedies like these, some little kid who witnessed it is going to do something good in this world to stop it, they would rather we believe he's going to become one of the perpetraters and, thus, the cycle continues.

I need to find out how to tell this news station my two cents about their deceptiveness.

It really worries me how often this occurs and how effed up we think our world is because of it.

Well, I am not sure what to say other than shame on them two-fold. The goading of the reporter was lame to start with and the intent was obviously changed. Perhaps fire the people that did this? Inexcusable. Thanks for the thread. Sad where some go.
