Just came up on mox...

Apparently people are there protesting right now... Saying "Create Jobs!"

I mean really... this whole debt ceiling is nothing but drama to hide the truth that our economy is toast... The jobs we do have are shrinking, and no light in the tunnel for any kind of real change, just more of the same

EDIT- Ok so to add, after posting this, I decided to turn on C-SPAN... Im hearing no audio even now... The room is just filled with suits walking around, no sound at all... I dont see any protesters though

Seems we both check our youtube subs often
haha

Yeah Im trying to listen back through, I cant make it out though... only going by what the speaker said near the end of the clip, saying he saw the protesters with a sign saying "Create Jobs"

Edit - at 41 seconds, Im pretty sure I hear, "Corporate Puppet"

I love Mox. Without them I'd have to shift through the boring stuff on the news that I don't care about.

Mox gives me all the stories I need usually.

yep. Has this happened before? How often?

If not then it's surely a sign of the times.

I thought I had heard Boehner's name... looking at the video someone added they hear

" Beohner in office corporate profits has got to go?"

I hear that as well, or very similiar

I heard it, it did not cut off on my stream

"Boehner, get off it, it's time to tax corporate profits"

my take anyway

I concur with this analysis.

Are there any other sources to confirm that this was indeed censorship? I don't doubt it for a second but I don't want to jump to conclusions.

If this is true, I am appalled. Especially since this is the most action I've ever seen on CSPAN lol.

To be fair they did break the law. They can't raid congress.

Though I hate our government as much as the next guy. Trust me on that.

Nope. Not in the House. Not allowed to make a "disturbance." The cracks in our government's authority are starting to show.

They could have been escorted out, not arrested. Then again, the politicians need their quiet time so they can spend all day babbling and doing nothing, as usual.

I'll join you in complaining that the law doesn't take common sense into account. It isn't fair and it isn't justice. What it is is the law.

Yeah thats just messed up... Arrested???

To add to everyone the audio is back on C-SPAN, discussing the debt ceiling problem , AKA Debt Problem...

Seems like it is true the protesters are no longer around... When is enough going to be enough... cant even protest peacefully anymore

What I love about the video is the indignation in the voices of the government officals. They just can't believe they are being inturrupted by... [gasp] common people. That aspect right there, the disbelief in their voices, is more telling about the disconnect between Congress and the citizens its supposed to be looking out for than anything else.

Folks are shocked by the fact that the protesters were arrested rather than just being escorted out?

You do realize this happens everywhere, right? For every type of non-sanctioned protest?

Police state anyone?

Can't you hear those Vibram-soled jackboots marching down our streets?

Is anyone watching this Debt Debate on CNN now??

It is goin down! These reps are going over their time, speaking the real truth for once... Most are saying they arent going to vote for the debt ceiling...

And also that we are all being held hostage in this debt problem

This is exactly the kind of thing that thoroughly disgusts me. First of all these people, among the many millions and millions of people that are far more qualified to be involved with and run these talks, come in to voice their opinion in literally the only way they can be heard, and then c-span is all over it to make sure that they can't be heard. It's literally sickening to me, and this kind of injustice should not be tolerated. You can argue that these people broke the law to be in there, but who exactly does the law favor when the people have no voice?

Plus, did you see the way that scumbag handled it? Like nothing ever happened then he has the audacity to suggest they were applauding him. I actually sincerely wish that the economy would REALLY collapse, not this charade were witnessing now, so these pieces of trash would have nothing left to govern. That guy and his peers really are worthless.
