Why hasn't anybody mentioned that none of these are rights?

Rights are natural. Granted by no bureaucrat, paid for by no man. Rights aren't commodities like education, healthcare, Real estate, ect. Rights belong to each man equally because mankind's nature demands it.

Ah ok. Thanks for the reply. I am not anti-government. I just don't need them in my daily life. I believe in strong communities as well. I am out there doing my best to meet community leaders and my neighbors.

If you are not directly harming others by your actions then there is no need for intervention by an outside party. Communities also, knowing better then anyone what is best for themselves, should be the ones handling most of the governing.

Freedom requires responsibility. People are perfectly capable of handling that responsibility. However, if you push down on them, they will act out. That is where we are IMHO, of course.

Cloward-Piven Strategy.

It's in effect.

I wish it were just a commie take-over.

No. ,I'm insinuating that you need to keep a healthy dose of political cynicism around when reading drivel like this. Otherwise you just become a pawn to the cowardly game of untruths and lies spun by political parties about their rivals. If you or half the people making knee-jerk responses in this thread or the Web in general knew anything about the process of changing the constitution you would know that there's simply no way Obama is going to simply sneak in and do this without the rest of the government being aware of it. It's a very public process.

This is just another email HOAX.

haha thats nuts dont they relize americans where tought from birth to dislike communism and their ideals I dont have a clue how they think they would get away with trying to implement anything of the sort here especially after we have seen how well it worked out for everyone else.

Well I've said it before :"Opening the constitution to "adjustment"
(i.E. the coming:"balanced budget Amendment") is incredibly dangerous! "We" just opened the door to democratic "fundamental change". ( i.e. to a centrally planned communist dictatorship).
I don't trust a single one of them up there....

Do you seriously believe every random thing that comes into your email inbox?

Obama has been very friendly to big business, more friendly than I would like sometimes. He's so far from a Communist it's not even funny.

And why would George Soros, a free market businessman, want to impose Communism? There is simply no logic to this at all.

I'll say it again, I don't want anything from the rotten government! I want them to leave me the hell alone! I want them out of my daily life. I don't care if they promise everyone all the money they could want and immortality, I want them to stay away. I am a free man and I don't need a big daddy.

Then you need to get off the internet that was invented, built, and put in place by the government. Go stand on a street corner with a sign. Oh wait, those are government streets. Well, sit in your basement and rail about the government and the next time terrorists want to attack, paint a big target on your roof because you do not want anything from the government.

I get really sick of reading how people do not need the government over their government telecom links.

On topic: I get stuff in my email all the time promising to make body parts bigger or smaller. Should I start threads on my spam too? Or should I just stick to the Xenophobic and racist emails I get that sound so true?

Good thing people just believe what they get emails. I believe that is how my friend in Nigeria makes his fortunes.

A guy who works with my wifes second cousin on her step fathers side said he heard from a reliable sorce in the navy that Obama is going to give cats the right to vote. I can understand letting dogs vote because they are smarter than most humans but cats. This country is in severe trouble

Meanwhile Fred Koch was able to make a great deal of money thanks to his friend Stalin. But the Koch brothers are just good Americans while Soros is a "ferner!"

I really hate to tell you this but you just described government that you fully support. You just called it "community." What you described is government. Sorry.

Thanks for the input.

Did you read my first sentence in my post that you quoted? It says, "I am not anti-government".

Also I'm not afraid of guys wandering in a desert halfway around the world. They probably wouldn't hate us so much if we weren't bombing the crap out of them and invading their countries.

No sir, I'm afraid of the terrorists that are right here holding public office.

Mr Obama and team can write and rewrite anything they want... it has to pass Congress and the states. That is not going to happen.

Further, there are too many people that would oppose such a move... including military, and a Civil War would ensue.

The very laws and rules that empower Mr Obama also prohibit Mr Obama... rest easy for now.

Just seems like Government is doing soo much thats been Unconstitutional and they get away with it

Care to name one?

I believe you may not understand the Constitution by that statement.

Well they've got 70 DSA members of Congress already who will go for it. This isn't willy nilly, they've been planning for a long time.

who is to say its untrue when they keep shoving snip down our throats ( and i am not suggesting its just the Obama admin., its all of them, lets get that straight as of right now) and passing a health care bill that is Unconstitutional just by them excluding themselves from it!

Like i said before....Those who do not question government are in need of a head check, you are not doing your duty to our country if you don't...they act like children ALL the time and idk about you but i question everything that my children do and anyone whom acts childish!

Who's to say they wouldn't "TRY" to do something sneaky like this?

Do you consider every conservative site as a HOAX?? Cause if thats the case maybe i should start seeing Liberal sites as Hoaxes! NAW....i am better then the politicians in that manner and am not politically racist!

I very rarely start a thread.... SOooOOOOooo do your research before you suggest that i start i thread every time i get something in my e-mail. IF i do find something that i think others would like to read and there is one started already...sure i'll post the link in that thread for whom ever wants it!

Have a Beautiful Day!

I got this in my e-mail...did a quick search on ats to see if anyone has posted this yet or not and didn't find anything.

Well, instead of just rushing to post something you got in an email forward, why not take the time to find out if there is even a shred of credibility to these claims?

Its called smaller government( which would be wonderful, except who would deal with International Foreign relations?) The growing size of our government is a major issue for us!

I am fine with their being a federal government...but lets face it...they are taking the power to their heads and lining their pockets at the cost of the American people, and its been getting way out of control more and more over many years now!

I read it!! And the other link to the other site......I don't have the time to sit on the computer all day and look for one site to suggest this and another site to say the opposite and a different one saying the same as the first, just to come across another saying the same as the second....i would be doing this crap all day!! Instead I read it and the other link...did a search to see if anything has been discussed about it on here, seen their wasn't any....and thought i might be able to get better insight on this seeing as a lot of people on ATS DO know where to look.
AND i do like to here other people opinions unlike so many other people that would rather everyone just sit there and keep their MOUTHS shut and never question anything nor take someone elses views into consideration!
