Indians pay surgeons to turn girls into boys

This is my first post so please be gentle
I just came across this article and it saddened me. I understand that India is a poor country but surgically turning girls into boys because they are considered a financial drain on the family just strikes me as wrong!

Financial drain???? Instead of paying for such procedures perhaps some thought should be put into sex education. What the hell is wrong with people today? Overpopulation now gender bending.

Hi there.

I read it and did not post at first just because I really did not know what to say. But after 5 or so minutes of thinking about it...this is some of my thoughts...

1. How is it medically possible to change the sex completely... how can they put a penis on a vagina....?? Wouldn't they need a donor???? this is so wrong on many levels!!!!

I have a lot more to say about it but I just can't find the words to say how disgusted I am to read this!!

It's possible. Just look up trans gender operations, which I personally don't have a problem with. The problem I do have is with a child who has no say in the matter but is operated on to allay the financial burden of a family.

Indeed very disturbing. Obviously, these are the ones that somehow escaped the first round of selection:

It's all about the money:

Hard to change because the higher worth of boys is so deeply ingrained in their culture (and many others).

You post this for what reason? What does this have to do with what is happening in India now? Please elaborate on your reply to clarify what you mean.

I did some reading on this and it seems that the penis is formed from tissue taken from another part of the body.

While I can see them being able to create a " visual representation", if you will, of a penis, I don't believe they can create something that functions like the real thing. I'm just guessing, but I suppose they use a pump of some sort.

Its India. What do you expect?

I was just thinking about this while driving before - before I saw your post. How many societies still see women as inferior, and not even able to drive. That being one of the minor inequalities. And, even in the US, women really have not been "equal" for all that long.

Something to ponder and research.

The familes in India and China tend to value boys more for traditional reasons. Boys in traditional society stick close to the families and provide for them, an work in the field, while girls cost money and disappear from the family. Although unholy and somewhat inhuman, from a cold economic perspective it at least appears to make sense.

Except actually it doesn't make sense. The traditional patterns are changing, more people are migrating looking for work away from their familes. And in the emerging economy, a girl can bring in just as much (or more) money manning a call center, doing tech support, or assembly-line work, etc. than a man can make with his muscles digging ditches or whatever. Moreover, in 20 years if there are a ton of males and fewer females, those females will be much more "valuable" and saught after which will translate into various benefits for parents and familes.

Invest in the girls of the third world, they are the gold of tomorrow...

Thats not nice dont change your girls to boys marry them off to american computer nerds in most cases the girl alone and maybe a plane ticket would cover the dow. Just make sure they are old enough first. thats what everyone else did. Or better yet tell them their is no dow and if they want your daughter they need to take her for the love they have etc... I know its not the way it works I guess but why not let he find someone to marry that dosnt want a dow. o and if ya think they are a drain send them to the local call center and tell them to get a job they will make money. women can answer phones just like men can its not rocket science.

This is a serious issue.

Yes, I read before about this horrible fact. It makes me sick. They don't kill baby girls just because of customs or religion, but pure selfishness and greed mainly. That's why they are all homosexuals, and they all have a cult for money and possessions, therefore the saying "indian giver". And they love to be in power, but only to abuse it. This is the reason their society is falling apart. Without women, testosterone is running havoc in it. They are so stupid, they do not understand that going on this way, their species is doomed to perish. Women from other cultures should stay away from them and let them disappear into the mist of their own foolishness. A culture promoting the caste system and the killing of babies should be rejected and dumped anyway by every reasonable human being.
