I just remembered that I had received a rather strange warning via email a couple days ago from a website I had joined.

NATIONAL RIGHTWING ARREST SWEEP HAS BEGUN!!! DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY!! GATHERING INTEL NOW.. PREPARE NOW!!

That email was followed shortly by the site admin email apologizing for the alarm and claiming it was a new moderator who was acting alone. Is there anything more to this than an overeager new mod? I'm not sure but am ready to roll.

Him saying that he's telling the truth and that his friends can vouch for him isn't enough for me. I need proof or at least twitter publicly announcing that it did happen. I guess I'm a bit too skeptical.

I see this thread is no longer listed anywhere on the New Topics page. Not in the live headlines, new topic firehose, alternative news firehose or even the new topic rss feed. The only way to find this thread seems to be by going to the Social Issues and Civil Unrest forum

I guess it was a brief but fleeting attempt at informing the public which now needs to be silenced. I'll try to make updates available as I find them out.

I don't think you'll find any social media company publicly discussing the legal details of another user's account. That seems like a huge violation of a privacy policy.

Skepticism is good but I've just got a bad feeling about this. I'll let you all know about any more details I can get once he starts answering people back.

Wasn't there once a website that linked to the White House concerning "right-wing" propoganda?

Seems to me that it was concerning the healthcare bill.

I wonder if it is still up.

I just found this post on "recent posts". Very disturbing though. I don't tweet, but I have spouted some "propaganda" on Facebook and on ATS. Plus my website probably has some stuff they don't like too. I'll be watching my Ps and Qs from now on! Thanks for the heads up.

On the new White House "Health Insurance Forum Reality Check" site, Linda Douglass of the White House Office of Health Reform tries to "debunk" the "myth" that reform will force you out of your current insurance plan or force you to change doctors. She says, "To the contrary, reform will expand your choices, not eliminate them."

Just exchanged tweets with @TORARADICAL he is working on getting a copy of the warrant. Says his Google email account won't accept his password and can't get to the email from Twitter at the moment. Working with Google to restore access.

Why would you watch what you say "NOW"? Are you scared they will come for you? You live in a free country right?

Really though, I understand where you are coming from. This is the very reason Americans do as they are told, for fear. They think if they are polite and do as they are told, they wont have to pay out as much or go through as much of a hassle and TPTB know this. They know they have us in a choke hold and they know we will submit and do what we are told to do or else.
