Long time reader , new member

Aloha! My name is Mike . I am 23 years old. I currently live in London. I am well travelled , i enjoy learning and researching various topics. I always try to keep my mind open and not take people's/source's as gospel.
I have been ill for the last 3 years of my life so i have spent alot of time at home and have tried to use it in as positively as possible. I like words , i love reading books ( mainly factual or biographical) i thoroughly enjoy helping people. One of my favourite quotes is " The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him no good". I have big interests in martial arts and MMA as-well as " soccer". I often say don't know something until you try it. I'm not religious although England is a sectarian state .I'm very open person and love this website for the broad spectrum of interesting stories and information it provides. I love history and documentaries and i have also written some poetry ( which i have saved somewhere but can't find). And I'm seriously considering studying marine biology at University. One of my biggest fascinations is water weather its the sea or a lake.
