Create a U2U from a profile page?, page 1

Am I missing this? Is there a way to create a U2U form somones profile page? So if I want to send a U2U to somone in a discussion thread, I can simply click thier user name, go to thier profile page, and then click a "Send U2U button?

At the bottom of their avatar where it says member, hover the mouse over that and there is an option to send message and you can send one directly to them from their avatar. I am not sure if that helps.

When you are in a thread just hover your mouse over the 'member' button on the avatar part of the page -

See where is sez send message on the lower left

Ah yes indeed. I knew there must be a way to do this. It was just such a logical idea.
