There have been catastrophic earthquakes without there being massive solar flares and CMEs, just as there have been massive solar flares and CMEs with no earthquakes.

There is no scientific link between the two. Any supposed link is purely conjecture.

"There is no scientific link between the two. Any supposed link is purely conjecture."

your right scientificlly all thery is conjecture,, that is the link.

that there is no scientific conjecture, is wrong. that is what science is based upon.,,,conjecture.

i think you mean there is no reason too accept conjecture as fact ,,at this point.
conjecture is exploration of our enviroment,,and well some people find when conjecture starts too look like fact and no longer theory/conjecture,, then some find it exhilarating,, some get scared.

A scientific hypothesis is based in part on conjecture. A scientific theory includes consistent data to support it. There is no such data regarding solar activity and earthquakes. There is conflicting and ambiguous data.

You're getting your terms confused.

"Conjecture" is defined as "the formation or expression of an opinion or theory without sufficient evidence for proof."
"Hypothesis" is defined as "a proposition assumed as a premise in an argument."
"Theory" is defined as "a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena."

A hypothesis can be based upon conjecture, but once it is tested it is either proven false or, after more testing, becomes theory. An example would be the Theory of Relativity.
