What if we all are talking here online doing posts and all and the government is snooping on us and reading everything we write on thes forums? Then they trace are ip numbers to are exact location and brainwash us or take are computers and check threw them or even hack are computers? remember the government has access to anything they want in the us !!! i was wathchin a show bout some guy who spies on area 51 and is a pro takes pictures and stuff of area 51 then he came home one day and his camara, computer and stuff where all gone !!!!His neighbor told him that men in a black Benz with really neat black sutes went in and raided te house they were all wearing dark blck sunglasses and all and even got a picture of them and showed them on tv he said he suspects they were MIB agents !!!! We are all screwed cause if we know to much the government will come after us!!!! and most likelly brain wash us and or interogate us!!!!! So im posting this because i once got a house call by some men in black i didnt open the door or any thing i was scared stiff i ran!!!! i didnt want to get caught or in trouble with the government they left anote saying that they would like to talk but i have no clue bout what i was young!!!so now im kind of paronoyed bout stuff like that it scares the crap out of me !!!! so please reply to my post and you can say anything you want such as if anything like this happend to you !!!

There are too many people with diverse opinions for the government to
chase after to brainwash. They wouldn't bother taking computers to
'check through them'. I'm sure they don't care what we chat about,
unless it's chatting about doing something illegal, then they have a right
to be interested. Actually, I hope they are keeping a close eye on the
anarchists at democraticunderground.com. NYC has been through a lot
and it doesn't need the garbage that some of the protesters want to do
(mess with anti-terror units, confuse the bomb dogs, etc.). It's stupid,
it's illegal, and it could be deadly.

I think the only danger in posting is if you really do have access to Highly Classified info, and divulge it here (or anywhere for that matter). Then you may have some issues...

Actually maybe they ARE watching us. I remember a time when some guy posted a link to some NASA site (which means it is a government site) and Area 51 was mentioned there, and a moment later guess what? The words "Area 51" are not there any more!

I will find this post and I can even show you that this site indeed had "area 51" writen in it (with wayback machine).

I saw the same show you are talking about. The neighbors did not describe the man as dressed in black. The described them as FBI agents. They were wearing the blue winbreaker with FBI in yellow on the back.

And to lessen the mystery even more, they left a search warrant on the kitchen table.

Do the MIB leave search warrants?

As I keep pointing out to folks, there's very little research on the site. Most of this stuff is reports from other sources, and there's a lot of hoaxed information here as well.

While the government might be watching some of the original news sources, there's no real need to watch the places that are just copying news from elsewhere. That's about as useful as monitoring Yahoo News for evidence of government secrets being leaked.

The government are watching. I know there is a big data base that are storing every phone call every mail and website that have some with secret stuff. If I write Area 51 or Dreamland the computer rate it and a humen in the government looks on it and see if it is ok. If not they will take action. So I think the government are watching uss.

I never read this before. They just erased the 'Area 51' part after the page started getting some attention? Spooky.

anyway, of course the government is spying on us, anybody ever hear about something called eschelon, it moniters EVERY phonecall EVERY email, EVERY website in search of "possible terrorist activity" world wide

Edit: they have a program that looks for certain words, one time, someone was talkin to a family member and said billy bombed in the play, and the gov picked that up and and discredited it as a threat

The gov't watches you through your computer monitor. They can pull up any IP address and watch anyone sit there and type in blogs and surf porno and refinance your house.

I'm safe, I don't live in the US. But if we talked about the mi6 or the GCHQ or Rudloe Manor in such a way you talk about Area 51, than I might be in trouble...
