Dear Brother's and Sister's in Christ!

"Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life..." I John 3:13

"If the world hate you, you know that it hated me (Yeshua,Jesus) before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I (Yeshua, Jesus) have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." John 15:18,19

Before you get this letter in your hand my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, the world that hates you may intercept and begin spewing hate. Do not concern yourself. Who knows, maybe some who hate now may love later. All we can do as Ministers of Reconciliation, is continue to plant and water seed. It is God who gives the increase.

We know that we are just passing through and for loves sake we hope to win some for Christ.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: (creation) old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation..." 2 Corinthians 5:17,18

"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ stead, be you reconciled to God. For he hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:20,21

Now, dear brother and sister in Christ, God knows we do blow it many times as we stand as Ambassador's for Christ. Daily we must rely on God's mercy and grace. And, while we are relying on mercy and grace we must continue looking up, for that is where our home is, is with our Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of God.

We know that soon we will be caught up to meet the Lord and the majority of mankind will be left behind. I am guessing there must be more souls to win for Christ before the end of this present age. However, it is fast approaching so let's continue reaching out for the lost by and for loves sake.

But, remember the world hates you. It is only that they do not understand. Remember as well, we too were once lost but are now saved. Remember about Saul who God renamed Paul who was very intent in capturing and consenting unto the death of every Christian they could find. Remember God through Christ saved him.

Can you please enlighten us as to the TRUTH about Christianity? Although improperly written, the OP addressed brothers and sisters meaning that it was not meant for you. So, I actually feel sorry for you because you feel the need to comment as an authority on a subject not intended for you in a clear attempt to cause discord.

And few, if any, of them ever stop and wonder about the (2.000 year long) reasons for their growing impopularity.

Contrary to you I WOULD join a thread on a public forum, representing an invasive, missionary ideology pushing its message. Strangely enough christians seem to be overrepresented here. Or maybe not so strange, come to think of it.

The most important words on ATS. Thank you for the thread. As others have pointed out clearly, the world hates Christians. In the US, Christians are still free for now. Other than the obvious bias against standing for virtue and truth, we are free to express our views and practice our faith. Around the world Christians are being restricted by tyrannical law, having their churches burned to the ground, having their homes destroyed and being thrown in prison for reading scripture together.

Do any of you really think you would be able to express yourself freely on ATS about any subject if Christians are restricted from expressing themselves freely in America? Think again. History shows that persecution first starts with the church and then everyone is restricted for thought of any kind. Tyranny stands against truth no matter where you find it. Christianity stands for honor, freedom, liberty and justice for all...not just the few who rule. If you stand for the values we were founded on, you stand for the truth every Christian embraces.

Wrong! Christianity wordl wide has been growing and growing in popularity. Just because someone says they follow Christ does not mean they are really following Him.

What are you so anti-Christ, mate? What is your agenda. I follow Christ as best I can and I am a much better person for it. I love Him with all my heart because I know who He is and what He did to help humanity.

Have you read the Bible? Read it all then you will be an expert on it and can dole out the criticism can't you! But if you haven't read it how can you take a stance on something you know nothing about.

Nah, you are just incapable of debate and show your ignorance through your words. Why do you have a need to laugh at Christians? I think you have a demon, really I do. I recommend you pray it out of your soul before it does you and your life some damage.

What, our Hero who went through all that, being willing to die for other people. I bet you aint that brave. I bet under torture you would crack like a lickle chicky egg!

What about all the other martyrs who died for their faith? Are they weak of mind, too? Those who rather than betray the name of their Lord suffered death and torture.

Much love for you OP.... You speak of hate all throughout the post and now look at all of them flocking to show how right you really are. Its sad! So many could love with their words and hearts regardless of color, religion, or ethnicity but its too hard for some to love.....they have too much hate in their heart. It is those that must be shown how to love as Jesus loves us.

Amen and AMEN! Thank you so much for reminding me this morning how its always has been when you speak of Jesus and his love. Times may get a lot worse but I will never fear as I am destined for a blissful home.

Look in the mirror and repeat after me, "I will love with my words and my heart to show others I am not only a good person but I want to get along with others and make a difference in such a cruel and hateful world".....then maybe you may begin to think as Jesus thought AND TAUGHT.
