Mass Policital Recall Election

Why are our politicians not held accountable for gross incompetence?
All other professionals are held to some basic standards. One of the basic jobs of congress is to handle the federal budget. They have been negligent in this duty for decades. I propose a mass recall of all senators and representatives in congress. This seems to be the only thing we can legally do...... Waiting until the next election is too late.

The politician's career depends on the stupidity of the ignorant masses. If you keep playing the election game, you'll always have politicians. Stop voting, and you won't kick the idiots out... you'll make them irrelevant.

Not voting will not change a thing, the system needs an overhaul but as for what kind of change and how it is implemented is a very difficult and complex challenge with so many different ideas, opinions and interests around. Exploring, talking and establishing the goals and plans of how to reform the system is one way that might make a difference.

That is the point. Washington is broken. I doesn't matter which party is in power it is always more of the same incompetence. With our country facing economic collapse the politicians are still "playing the game". Bonehead is telling his team to get on board. Politicians need to be reminded that they answer to the people first not their party. The time for games has passed and the politicians have not woken up to this fact. The question remains as to how to remind them who they work for. This could be difficult as recall elections are not even possible in all states.
