New Bill Called "Martial Law"

Just saw on the news that the bill the house will vote on tomorrow is called "Martial Law".

Hmmmmmm ....... wonder why?

Trying to scare us again, like if the bailout bill wasn't passed 3 years ago?

Was watching fox news and they just said it.

Maybe it was "Marital Law"

Maybe it is a bill to allow gays in every state to get married now? Or is it really "Martial Law"?

Would the media really state something as a martial law bill being passed? Can you quote exactly what the journalists said?

It was Bret Baier. He came on at around 11:00 on Greta's show and was talking about how the bill would be voted on tomorrow and he said, "Believe it or not the bill is called Martial Law."

No details. I looked on the Gov website for the house and their agenda for the day only goes up to like 2:00.

I'm not sure what the OP is referring to, but there is H.R. 324 on the table that:

1/19/2011--Introduced.Directs the Secretary of Defense to authorize a Department of Defense (DOD) law enforcement officer to: (1) execute and serve a warrant or other process; (2) make an arrest without a warrant for any offense committed in the presence of the officer, or for any felony if the officer has probable cause to believe that the person arrested has committed or is committing the felony; and (3) carry firearms.

Could be what the media source is referring to? DOD law enforcement officers executing what appear to be domestic police roles and activities does seem a bit...odd? But I don't think it's up for a vote, or scheduled?
