Longtime lurker, figure there's no time like the present

I was a GLP lurker for the most part (the fast pace of the site fed my ADD), replied now and then, but since I'm in their ISP ban, I thought it was time to make this more of a home. I first discovered ATS about two years ago -- my first exposure to a conspiracy theory/alternative news site -- and I think I spent days on end reading 70-page threads. It became an instant drug! I'm not into being an expert on anything, and not much of a debater, but this place opened my eyes a lot, so I'm happy to finally take the step and sign up. Hi, everybody!

Sure. I'm not one to talk about myself, but since you asked...

I'm a mom of two. I'm interested in the paranormal and conspiracies in general. Having worked in politics in the past, I decided it was the work of the devil and got out to save my soul. I just like being kept informed of things that are worth knowing, not just what MSM wants us to know. Sometimes, reality is a hard pill to swallow, and it's nice to get the neurons firing on a site like this.
