Yes, another Avatar thread.

I got my avatar up and working, but why does it cut out half of it? I made it the right dimensions. it shows in full when I go to view my profile, but it cut's in half when I post.


Do my post's reflect how much of my avatar shows? I noticed a lot of people have their full 400 length avatars showing, but not mine. Thanks in advance!

Try setting it as your background image..

Still having problems. It only lets me do "mini back round". Which end's up being smaller then the avatar.. Very confusing, and I am far from PC illiterate.


And I know, other sites are so simple all you have to do is upload a avatar within the dimensions set server side.

This background thing is new to me. I miss [IMG]

Your avatar size will determine the size of your background image area.

Once your avatar is uploaded properly, it will stretch the background more.

Remember these both need to be added to Tools > Pictures

It's pretty simple from there, just copy and paste the Avatar or Background URLs into your Profile.

There is a maximum size for avatars. (pixels). I can't remember what it is but it's fairly small. If you click the "avatar instructions" link on your profile page it tells you.

If you image is too big, you'll have to re-size it appropriately on your computer by editing the image before re- uploading it to ATS
