some of us have trouble with imagination games, (imagine this pen is a rocket ship. uhh....but its a pen), but most are very creative. "outside the
box" thinking is inside the box for us.
musical/artistic savants are my favorite. the things they come up with are truly amazing.
this kid's math skills come from a high IQ mixed with a fascination for math and order. he'll go far in life, but there are others who blow him out
of the water.
stephen wiltshire goes on a short helicopter flight over a city, then draws the whole thing in almost perfect proportions.
derek paravicini was born blind, but is arguably the best pianist in the world. his brain doesn't filter out any sound information that he hears, and
he remembers everything he hears.
daniel tammet is autistic, and he had a bad seizure when he was young. for some reason, the visual part of his brain became linked with the math part.
everything "looks" like a number to him, and he can do absurdly large calculations in his head.
they have beautiful minds.
