Ok this is my first time posting a thread so be easy. I was on my way to work this morning just got done stopping at the gas station when Iooked up in
the sky by Millcreek Canyon and saw what appeared to be a missile or something along that line. I Served 3 years in the US Army so it look really
similar to what I have seen. This happened in the Salt Lake Valley on the East Side. Dugway is to the west and south and Hill Airforce Base is to the
North so there is no military instillation that I know of it could be coming from. I took video and pictures of it so please comment and let me know
what you think it could be.
Nice catch and I'm glad you had the smarts to get pictures. It indeed looks like a missle launch, but I suppose it could be a contrail gone
wild.........
Here's some of the pics I uploaded for you, hope that's cool.

Definately appears to be a rocket. Have seen trails like that many times from researches launching small satelites out to inner space. This is nothing
uncommon. May happen several times a month around the U.S.
Tooele army depot has an area north of route 80 on the west side of the great salt lake that looks like it may have launch capabilities. Strange area
even if it is not the site of origin.

last night around 5:00p, i saw simluar in the skies over my area. I live in southwest texas about 3 miles from the mexican border and it came from
mexico, I have photos of this but dont know how to get them from my computer to this site. like embedding I dont know how to do that,
For anyone wondering if it was comming fromt he sky downward no, because I saw it as it left from mexico, the only reason I couldnt get pictures at
the exact moment is because I was driving on a 2 lane bridge over a lake. There was no where to pull over, when I finally did get to pull over This
was my vatage point and it was going up not down.
