What if Aliens are really time travelers?.

Scientists now acknowledge the possibility of time travel i think a few of them actually explained it very well, but sadly we are far from actually achieving time travel this century and the following centuries...but i was thinking what if people 2000 or even 5000 years in the future take vacations not to locations but to certain periods of time?

thats why i think more "UFO's" are appearing they are coming to earth to see how we used to live

As far as we know, time travel is impossible. This was wrote about recently by scientists testing the speed of a single photon.

If time travel is not possible, then no, they are certainly not time travelers.

Well, lets consider the hypothetical

If they are time travellers, well, the future they come from is as alien as any other alien planet..therefore, sure...they are aliens still.

just not extraterrestrials.

Also, I would think that if there is such a possibity of time travel, there would be only two possibilities of using it..

1) You can do only minimal stuff carefully researched....observe, don't even kick a rock. You could accidently step on a flower that your great great x10 grandparent came across, picked, and gave to that girl he was eyeing that made her fond..etc..ripples, your not born because you stepped on a flower type thing

2) You are travelling to a parallel universe, so it doesn't matter what you do, because it won't effect your timeline universe...which means you come from a different planet anyhow..aka, extraterrestrial

So, since 1 seems profoundly dangerous..that leads to conclude that the only possibility we are seeing time travellers is from a 2 example...so, topic over then?

Of course it proves no such thing..it proves nothing travels faster than the speed of light..which means nothing overall. (My understanding of time travel is less circling a black hole and more resonating quantum signatures to the past and teleport yourself back)

The fact that aliens appear to be humanoid (bilateral symmetry, bipedal) is a strong suggestion that we are somehow related biologically.

However, my personal theory is that aliens aren't from the future. Rather, we are from the past.

The aliens are the scientists, and we are their biological "past". Earth is like their "Jurassic Park", and humans are the main exhibit. We are an ancient artifact and this is a long term, big scientific experiment.

I believe they are time travellers but that doesnt necessarily mean that they come from the future if you know what i mean.

But holidaying? If they are so advanced i cant really see them doing that. I see it as a human need or pass time.

But yeah, other than that i see no reason why ETs wouldnt holiday to other time periods.

Wait, what "fact" are we going with here?

Some people say stuff that isn't true..and others confirm what some say due to a multitude of reasons...such as famechasing, delusional, or wanting to make a buck.

The fact is actually just reports from some rather dodgy sources...unless you personally met one, in which case, that is still not a objective fact..just a subjective understanding based on personal experience.


But anyhow, perhaps its not some alien seed or science project...perhaps the universe simply favors bipedal predators as the best design where intelligence reaches a certain level to achieve space flight...sort of like why nature favors wings to fly verses developing super legs to jump a mile up (like a flea) after a certain size...you don't see many animals on earth that can jump 30 times their body height normally that isn't a insect...nature developed wings..but that doesn't mean the first winged creature started genetically modifying other creatures to have wings.

Who cares? It's not going to affect your life at all so why bother? You're going to end up one of those crazy people living in a padded cell if you keep worrying about things that have no consequence or bearing on your life.

Well....there haven't been any other reported biological structures of aliens, believed or not believed.

If you believe aliens exist at all, the only biological structure that have ever been reported are of bipedal bilateral symmetry.

If you don't believe aliens exist at all, then that's outside the scope of the discussion in this thread.

Well, then... they would be more advanced then us... Well, ANY visitors from another planet would most likely be more advanced than us.

Unless they had a sort of... spaceship/community that people lived on... as it traveled through space... people live, have kids... and so on, just like they would on Earth... And one day.. that floating space community will stumble upon something....

Depends on who you ask really.
Consider the historical accounts...dragons, snakes, etc...those are forms outside of bipeds,
Many believe the glowie orbs are themselves actually alien plasma lifeforms that are habitating our upper atmosphere and space.
Hard to connect with a jellyfish though

Thing is, if we met a alien that wasn't bipedal, would we even acknowledge it as an alien?

I read the photon article as well. However, that only insinuates that "if" you have to go faster than light to time travel, then it would be impossible. To me if it could be done with magnetic field projections or something of the sort, who needs to go faster than light.

Pump the brakes hot shot, the article they speak of was in fact published by "scientist!" But, they also said that light speed may not be the only way to achieve this concept. All the article was getting at is light speed is the "speed limit" so when relating to einstein time travel would be impossible under his assumtion that light speed has to be acheived.

Although I am not the ops, I can answer this

Yes, they are wrong.

Why are they considering time travel to be faster than light travel? Sure, speed, gravity, etc..have an effect on time and can create distortions, however, that (beyond some flaky sci-fi) is not the core understanding of time travel...

What they are suggesting is first off, knowing how time travel works, then dismissing it by debunking their version of how it must work.

I suggest a far more plausable and understandable time travel event, which has actually made plenty of rounds on the alternative news headlines
Google Cronovision...might sound like gobblygook...especially if you heard about it decades ago before a understanding of quantum entanglement and successful experiments on teleportation.

They got it wrong and are spreading disinformation...your not helping the cause of trying to understand things.

Time is man made....its a measurement of vibrations. Your clock doesnt run on time...it runs on batteries and a gem.
