Warning dog walkers in Newcastle UK

Hi folks,

I noticed this and thought I'd try and make a post about it. Not much info to go on but I noticed a few friends on facebook mentioning it.

WARNING !!!!!!!!! Please do not walk your dogs around the Lyme Valley area ( newcastle staffs )as someone is dropping food injected with anti freeze for dogs to eat. It kills them as there is nothing that can be done to save the poor animals. At least 6 dogs have already died. Please post this on your wall to warn other dog owners

I feel these idiots need to have some very nasty things happen to them. I can't find anything else as of yet with regards to any official NEWS coverage but felt it may be a heads up.

If this is true.. What a f----g scumbag!! Obvioulsly premediated and probably from someone who maybe has a problem with dogs crapping on the ground..

To some people their dogs are like their family and in some cases of elderly etc it is their only friend.. And what about the blind people??? This will be like murder to some..

I really hope they catch this guy and he gets what's coming to him!!!

this is right up there with laser in pilots eyes and other stupid stuff people do.

Probably some total mental case that stepped in some mess one time, sadly its the owners not the dogs in this case so to kill the dog is a total waste and very sad.

Yes I live in a small comunity and there we have had issues with cats getting sliced and killed below water.

I think those guys should have mayor fines for that aswell as maybe some sort of punishment like getting there ash kicked.

It is indeed a terrible thing and just adds to the nut house world we live in. To have these folks walk among us, with their evil thoughts. Oh by jings I tell you it really ruffles my haggis.

I have a cat and she doesn't get out much as we live in a flat, hell, I don't get out much, lol. But I don't trust society and blah blah blah...it just annoys me.

Agreed that anamal abuse should be veiwed as bad as human abuse. There will be those who don't agree and that's fair enough, but for me, hanging is too good for them.

I've heard of these things before. Be vigilant folks and look after our little friends.

My dogs are my kids, me and the missus cant have children, so if anyone ever hurts my pups it will be the last thing they ever do. Never mess with a man's best friend.

Hope they catch this person and remove several body parts from them, hell ill even do it if no one steps up to the plate, there has to be a message sent out of zero tolerance towards animal cruielty.

Lyme valleys a nice place for a walk but given some of the right idiots around there it doesn't suprise me

The sick thing is if they get caught nothing will happen, a suspended sentence and animal ownership ban for a couple years. Imo this is truely sadistic and should be treated much more seriously. If I ever caught this sicko myself you can bet I'd end up serving a much longer sentence than they would for restraining them and bringing them into a police station.

Yes indeed that is a terrible thing to happen.

I'm going to go a small bit of topic, in my own post, what's the rules on that? har har har, I was watching BBC Countryfile last night and they had a peice on Chinese Lanterns. They were talking with farmers about how these lanterns were burning out and coming down in their fields. This had resulted in one of his cattle actually being killed from eating the remains of the lantern. Also some lanterns don't go out before they hit the ground, which can result in fires etc.

Anyway, back to the topic.

Keep an eye on those pets who you let wander outside.
