We do not have a population problem. All we need to do is manage our resources differently. We need to make a vested effort to make everything out of durable, long lasting, and recyclable materials. This will ensure that we will not take from the Earth too quickly.

We also need to change how we build cities. Instead of Urban sprawl, we need to build our cities like an organism. We need to plan our food production as well, instead of getting huge plots of land to grow on, we need to figure out how to use our modern technology to create food production in the cities so that even when there is a category 5 hurricane outside, the food production would remain unchanged.

We only have a population crisis if we continue to do things the way we always have. We need to think of new ways to manage our resources and produce goods that do not degrade after less than a year, then all of a sudden we will find that the Earth can hold 30 billion people or more. Is what I'm saying really so unreasonable or unattainable?

I have done extensive research on this subject and yes it is a problem. Its Part of one of my majors in college.

Buahaha. You are paying a cell of TPTB so they can tell you that there are too many people on the earth?

Maybe you should take a class in something useful, medicine or agricultural science. Help the people of this earth live better instead of getting brainwashed to think we should just "control" the population.

Well you take that big gun and save the world one kill at a time. Or, you know, whatever helps you sleep at night.

1.) our current population is around nine billion and continues at an exponential rate

I thought it wasn't even 7 billion yet close to it though.

Also over-population isn't a problem that's just the Eugenics propaganda spread around by the elites.

Sorry you are right it is closer to 7 billion my mistake.

Just because you are to closed minded to see whats happening doesn't mean its not. Here in the United States over population is not a problem yet. Its a problem in non-industrial countries with lack of basic resources and it also doesn't help that the United States has like 5% of the world population and consumes 30% of the world resources.

That's because others do it cheaper because of the outsourcing of jobs...

Why don't we start a colony on Mars? Make other planets the New New World.

In some ways, I think the overpopulation material people read could be used as propaganda to push some Nazi eugenics agenda. Though we should definitely be concerned. Better to figure this out now than wait until its too late.

The problem isn't really too many people. The problem is that we all depend on large corporations to feed us. We tend to think there's an unlimited supply of food therefore we waste it. Not only that, but the processed food we eat has so many redundant ingredients that could be used in better ways. People need to learn how to be more self-sustaining.

I think it is funny how you post this thread with a picture of a gun next to you

But I do partially agree with you. Large population, though manageable, is unbearable. I think these kind of numbers that the earth can hold is great, but there are still people unable to get food and water all over in the world, America included. Until everyone is taken care of then we should look to reduce the population a little bit. Once, of course, we as a nation (not as potential but as reality) are able to face greater numbers, then by all means let it happen.

A thing that bugs me about this topic in particular though is that the world is a bit overcrowded... with dumb people! They are everywhere! That demographic needs to be taken care of as a whole-- not simply the human element.

There is no population danger and this has been proven many times in different threads on ATS. Do a simple search and you can get the hard numbers of why this isn't an issue.

I call BS on that as well. It has not been "Proven Many Times" on ATS. It has been debated about but not proven.
I cant understand how people don't see the population issue, seems pretty obvious to me....but who I am I to say.

That was an M-107 50.Cal sniper Rifle and my best friend and that is me checking the scope.

People like to blame TPTB like its some kind of plot problem for them is its not going to effect us.

Its going to effect our children big time.

I think the Earth can probably sustain 10 -100 times more humans than are currently on Earth.

Through technology we will progress.

And through technology and sustainability and efficiency. It is possible.

You are aware that your profile pic is you (I'm assuming) lookin like a "cool guy" with a sweet sniper rifle. Don't kid yourself. Have you ever even seen another human being die? You'd probably wouldn't think twice if some sociopath in the UN required every other person in the world to be sterilized like dogs.
