Mysterious Frozen Object Appears In Milovice Forrest, Czech Republic

A mysterious ice ball appeared in the Czech Republic recently without any explanation. This giant hailstone measures two meters in diameter. That's a whopping 6 1/2 feet. A witness was able to document this unusual sight on video and post it to the popular video sharing site YouTube on Thursday, July 21, 2011

If this is some kind of hailstone its a dang big one. maybe its a prank or something. I dont really know....

i'm not sure, could just be a lucky piece of ice, or something rlike that. maybe that's where my heart went, i hve been looking for it

You can tell by the lines in it. They even went to the trouble to get a bird to freeze in it...nice.

its a 6.5 foot sphere, that would be a lot of toilet waste... there is another kind of blue ice that forms when ice is under great pressure...
this is plane blue ice and that thing does not look like that to me, im no expert though

Couldn't really tell from the vid.

If it came from space you would think it would be buried more into the ground....who knows but I sure would like to know how it stayed together instead of breaking apart.

I dont see any tracks from someone leaving it there? And its core is sinking into the ground @ 1:06 and on? But how is the core falling out of it. Interesting.

Definitely not a hailstone. Looks like blocks of ice were stacked, then cut or melted into a ball shape. Hailstones are made by layered ice.

There are barely concealed tractor tracks around it.

I think it's BS.

Why is the core sinking out of it into Earth?

The officer's wife grabbed their youngest child and ran to call police from a neighbor's house. Jubilee said the blue ice broke into many pieces when it hit the roof, with the largest chunk estimated at 40 pounds.

Hettstedt, Lower Franconia, Bavaria. Yesterday, a gardener heard a high-whistling whiff and then a crash. A natural boulder (1m , 3.3ft) in his garden was smashed by a 20 kilo (44 lbs) chunk of blueish ice that broke to several pieces and pierced the earth by 20 cm (8 in). The biggest remainig chunk has still a diameter of 43 cm (17 in).
