I saw this video one night on one of my fave comedy shows - Tosh.0

When I saw it, I found this to be the least most funny clip I have ever seen. Matter of factly, this really P!$$@& me off something serious. The reason it hit me so hard is, in my home state, this is a normal thing. This "way", culture or whatever you want to call it is the reason kids grow up to be so damned messed up. These parents, adults, or anyone alowing this to happen should be sent to prison in some dark room with no light, shut away from society so they can not influence it in any way. These kids should be taken and reprogrammed. I can imagine that these kids think this is normal, but in truth, I am willing to bet that these kids grow up to be %^#*@$ UP!!! Imagine in 10-15 years if these kids were around your children. I know it's not the kids fault, but it's most definatly the parents fault. Even as this video exists, I'm so furious that since all this time has passed, no state agency has stepped in, confiscated and deleted the video, found the parents and made a media wide example of these people. Why America? Why do you let this happen??

Sick Perversion of our kids...

I'm sorry everyone, I could only give a link as I do not see a youtube version of this.

Dont get me wrong, I love to watch Tosh, but It really upset me that this was promoted in a way. Yet, at the same time, I'm glad that he did, so we could see just what is being shown and recorded. This is nothing short of child porn. The problem is, not one damned agency did anything about it since it was aired.

As I mentioned... this is commin in the south. I'm sure if it's happening there, it's happening in other parts of the us. So... Nothing wrong with rap? G-Gangsta? Seeing this... They all should be rounded up and shot point blank. A 21 gun salute in the groin even. "But... there is good rap and there is bad rap". B.S.!!! It all sends the same damned message. Lady Ga-Ga? I say... Lady Gag that *&^%*& untill she's put out of our misery. Cmon people, this kind of freedom of speech and this kind of junk being alowed on our TVs, radios and the like should not be alowed in this country. Dont tell me that the music isnt responcible. Without the music, I just dont see this kind of activity taking place. I cant even go to a bowling alley without seeing thugged out bastages crawling through cracks on every corner. It's in your face and there isnt a damn thing you can do about it. I can understand not wanting to deal with this in a club... Yeah, I know.. Just dont go. But does it have to be everywhere???

Ok folx.. I want your honest opinions here. Constructive responces please.

One more folx...

You can see so damn many examples of this on Youtube. Just search Booty Poppin and Grinding. You'll see the most disturbing crap. It's no longer set to just one culture. I know trailer trash that's very much into this and they're white! What the hell??? All those concentration camps that the US is "supposedly" setting up should be put to use, filled with trash like this and executed daily untill it's wiped out! These parents shouldnt be alowd to have kids, go on welfair or anything of the sort. They should be in prison, working hard labor for life, and when they cant bust bolders for no reason anymore, they should be locked away with no sunlight or food untill they waste to oblivion, just like any other child molestor.

Did you just say we are lucky to have freedom of speech yet we should not allow this type of music? I understand why you posted the video, just a lot of what you are saying makes me worried just as much about the culture you were brought up in. I.e... shooting someone in the groin.

I am astonished; not only at the parents of the kids but also the film crew to allow this to happen.

It is very sad what we are allowing our kids to think is "normal". I totally agree with how you feel OP , and our values of what is moral ,and healthy for our young children is going down the tubes.....

Fair enough, I just thought attacking the music (rap) is not the way to go. I listen to rap and I dont "booty shake", not all rap is bad though so I disagree with banning the music. Perhaps educating the parents would be more worthwhile.

Why in the world would parents encourage their kids to do such such stuff?

That is wrong in every way imaginable.

Its not cute, it is sick.

Ok, let me give you another example..

Crack... Not everyone abuses it. It's possible that some people use it recreationaly. Should we get rid of it alltogether or leave it on the streets because some people dont abuse it?

You can say the same about tobacco and beer, and honestly, even though I do both, I would rather be in a world were the temptation wasnt there at all.

Beer vs Rap:

- Both promote violence
- Both are legal
- etc etc

Yet.. One is regulated and one is not. One has laws placed upon it, where the other does not.

I understand that it is a big statement and probably an unfair one, but RAP has it's roots deep seated in violence. This was not true 20 years ago, but it certainly is today. So let's lable certain kinds of music Rap and the Gangster junk something else, then, and only then would I make a stance on the diffrence. Till then, it's labled as just rap, all of it combined. It doesnt have the leasure of "Hard rock - classic rock - modern rock - etc". It's all just "Rap". It's very scary walking into a club and watching people dancing to this. Watching someone "crump" makes me think they're either having a seizure (if they arnt, keep it up and they will), or about to go into a demonic frenzy and start killing people. So, segrigation is a bad thing... I know this... But, times like this makes me really rethink what I feel and that's bad for me, and if I feel this way, then others are bound to as well. Why does it have to go that far?

Tosh.0 is a disturbing show altogether. When they're not making fun of the poor and middle class they're encouraging cruelty and sex. This one clip is nothing compared to everything that show has done and is doing.

I know some parents think these sorts of things are just cute beyond description and what harm can it possibly do?? Well, I guess it does no harm if it's a one-off moment of casual fun. Perhaps that is what this shows...just a rare moment of silliness like all parents and kids have...... Somehow though, I suspect this is more par for the course. Children being 110% sexualized and trampified. When this fine upstanding young lady grows to be a ghetto queen herself with a little zoo of children mooching off our tax money, perhaps someone will think to look back at the family videos and wonder.....could the kids perhaps have been given more constructive messages at this age then 'Your little butt gets you what you want in life....keep shaking it'...?

both videos show the camera angle from an adult perspective it the parents. watch the Mike Judd movie idiocracy that is were the world is heading without eugenics sorry.

if there is a global conspiracy to depopulate the world it is because of parents like this.

Crack is a substance that alters the chemicals in your brain, it is addictive, causes psychological problems. Music cannot be compared to a drug and though it may encourage bad behaviour so did/does rock music. This is real life my friend, if we ban everything that can be misused we may as well be living in a box. Cars, airplanes, knives, TV, drugs and plenty of other things out there have potential to be misused and do regularly. Do we ban a kitchen knife so no one can cut bread because some people go around stabbing each other? The fact is we don’t live in an ideal world, Hitler believed in an ideal world and dictated how people should see and act upon the world and look how that ended up.

Honestly I don't mean to deter you're post as I agree kids that young should not be dancing like that. However imposing morals from unjustified generalisations upon others is wrong imo.

Watching TV and listening to music releases dopamine in your brain just like a drug. 99% of people use this drug and for 4-6 hours a day on average, so clearly it's addicting. This drug promotes apathy, violence, ego, social status, and discrimination. Both are detrimental to your health. Honestly, I see very little difference between crack and tv.

Well I listen to it but not on TV, I have tons of rap music videos amungst other genres on my Youtube favourites and none has booty dancing. Most happens to be about peace, rising up against oppression, how the government control, talking about love, the good times in life etc. Hence why I disagree with the OP trying to ban rap. I even write my own rap lyrics and none of it contains the likes of...

"Bounce booty, bounce. Shoot people, be a gangster and children perform sexual acts."

That may suprise some but that fact is, this is not something new. Almost every generation has had a new rise of culuture that the rest thought was to provocative. You will find texts from thousands of years ago where they complained about music, teens being to forward in society.

The problem is watching TV for 6 hours a day does not make it an addiction, the same way getting on a bus every day to work isn't an addiction. Sure chemicals are released into the brain however drugs have stronger effects, well in terms of crack and other high class drugs. Tv is not great for your healthy, neither is us sitting in front of our computer on the forums so perhaps we should ban the internert, considering the cyber bullying and terrorism etc?

Anyway I don’t mean to drag this thread off topic. I just felt any attempt to ban a form of expression should also be countered if you feel it also has a valid purpose. My personal opinion is the parents and peer's are to blame rather than the music.

I am not an easy man to offend, but this is absolutley sick. Why would they show that on t.v. and as a joke no less, the people who run things at that particular t.v. show and network should all be fined and perhaps fired.I am all for free speech and the extension of that right to television, however there are things that don't need to be shown on the tube. And correct me if I'm wrong ,but isn't this ToshO supposed to be pretty popular,I pray others who watch the show don't think this is funny and encourage their kids to do the same, because this is sick, not cute,or funny.

Im sorry, there is no sliver, no trace, no hint of "a moment of casual fun" in this. One kid putting his pelvis grinding another kids behind? How in the 9 hells can this ever be considered casual fun? Anyone who thinks this is "cute" falls in the same mentaly disturbed, sexually abusive state that these bastards fall in. They should suffer the same fate. A child should NEVER be used in this way for someone elses enjoyment, pleasure, or supposed cuteness. It's simply sick crap!

I was just searching around for a news clip I read some years back, and I cant find it with the searches I'm attempting. If you will, I'll just give you what I read about it then. From what I understand, heavy base or Boom, causes a sensation similar to being stoned to many people. It was a study done about 3 or so years ago. So, sure, it can be considered a drug. I know that's reaching, but it just made me remember it and I thought that it might be at least interesting to throw that in there.

Sure, we can compare this stuff all day. I agree with you but I dont at the same time. I've never seen rock have the same kind of influence that rap has on young people today. Ive seen video's on youtube were it puts the listeners into a trance and when they peak, they go ape s#!% and start rioting, fighting, beating the crap out of each other, not caring who they beat the crap out of, pounding their supposed friends.. all for the sake of being Gangsta. How retarded is this? Have you ever seen rock n roll do that to anyone? Maybe when the law pushes them to, but not on the fly. This stuff is simply dangerous. But of course, Rap is not the topic of this thread. So I wont spend much time on this infinate debate.

Now see, you used that old trick...

if we ban everything that can be misused we may as well be living in a box. Cars, airplanes, knives, TV, drugs and plenty of other things out there have potential to be misused and do regularly. Do we ban a kitchen knife so no one can cut bread because some people go around stabbing each other

I can say then... why should murder or sexual molestation be illegal? It's all based on personal choice. What one see's as bad another twisted mind see's as normal.

Why would you alow something in your society that destroys it? Cmon, the guy who made the atomic bomb didnt realise it was to be a bomb that was going to kill so many people, and possibly cause the extinction of our planet. Do you realise how much power is involved in rap? Dont you for a second believe that these people are so brainwashed that they can start a war with a few lyrics at any given time? No? You remember the movie "Boyz in the hood"? I do. I dont even get into this gangster stuff, yet when that movie came out in my city... Those retards came out of that theater and not only trashed the theater but beat the crap out of each other untill the riot squad showed up. I remember this well, because I was thanking my lucky stars that I was not watching another movie at the same time. Imagine how many "normal" people with their kids were. Alot of people ended up in the hospital that night that wasnt even involved.

Say a crack head moves down the road from you. Is that ok? Imagine a whole block of them do... Would you move? If you dont want that sort of influence bothering you, why is it any diffrent for me? I say it should be banned before it's too late, but to be honest with you, if we tried, heh... it would be too late. There would be no race war as many always predicted.. it would be a rap war. People WOULD rebel. I firmly believe this.

People are always saying "Why you got to focus on all the stuff the black people do.. whites are just as bad". I can agree, but the things I see that comes out of rap (and remember, I live in the south where it is the norm), it surpasses any violence that comes any other way, save war. I see it daily. You think "grills", "Bling" and every other slang you can think of came from anything other than rap? No! It's making our children retarded.

It's not racist, my friend. It's rap...
