After all there would be little oxygen without trees.

Thats why i love plants and trees so much!,i wouldnt be able to breath here without them,none of us would.

We are here because of a one in a million chance that the right acids and other chemicals were in the right place at the right time to form the first, primitive life. Nothing more. There is no "meaning of life" or a "greater purpose", there is only chance, and randomness, and chaos, and order.

I like Sg-17's response.

I don't understand why everyone thinks there has to be a reason for our existence. What is the purpose of planets? What is the purpose of astroids? What is the purpose of the universe(multiverse)?

For me personally it's a classroom and a test. When my grades are higher and I am following the teachers instructions my life seems happier more full-filled...I feel as if everyone can hear the direction their live are to go if they just take a minute to listen.

Before everyone jumps down my throat, let me make this absolutely clear ;

I am only offering a suggestion.

Perhaps you should read The Holy Bible. It will surprise you to find that all of the relevant questions pertaining to life and its meaning are answered in absolute.

At the least, it will offer you another perspective to consider in your search for answers.
