(CNN) -- European leaders agreed on Thursday to provide a second bailout package for Greece and drastically expand rescue funds to prevent financial crisis spreading through the eurozone, reports said. According to a draft proposal, obtained by several media organizations, the European Union will provide additional loans with longer pay back periods "to decisively improve the debt sustainability and refinancing profile of Greece." A spokesman for the European Council, which called the emergency summit of the 17 eurozone nations in Brussels, said he could not confirm the report.

There goes our money, it would have been better to just kick Greece out of EU. They let their economy go down too easily, they used way too much money, now other countries have to save them, so Euro don't collapse. I hope they can someday pay back, or whole Europe is in crisis.

Loans will mature in 15 years and they have low interest rate, just 3,5%. This will surely lead to protests in Greece, since they lose lot of public jobs and taxes will be raised.

Next countries are Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Italy.

Another delay tactic or another reason to reposition more money. Does anyone really know where all the money comes and goes to?

Obviously bailouts do absolutely zero for the masses, but apparently someone must be benefiting, we saw that with America's bailouts. The greedy were rescued and made richer in the last 3 years, while the masses have sunk lower in every way.

I blame Greece for this, or their government. They didn't do anything to political and economic corruption. Also they spent more money that they could afford. I hope they do something to corruption this time, or we have very bad situation here in Europe.

Deal? For who? I only see Greece getting a deal. Someone else picking up their tab for running a socialist country--- and FAILING.

The rest of you got the SHAFT.

I say to hell with them, and other countries- If you can't play in the big leagues, then the big leagues take you over. I am sure the Euros would love to have a nice retirement area. Greece sounds just great.

Seriously, why should they be allow to stay in possession of it? Screw them and the people. They brought it on themselves. Doom to them.

And, to the other countries-including the USA. Figure a way to pay for it yourself of bare the consequesnces.

Rembember, Elections has consequences. (so say Obama-and Obama's party admitted they own the economy!)

Nothing like rearraging deck chairs on the titanic.....

As painful as defaults are, we need them. Obviously throwing money at the problem wont help. There must be a reduction in spending and fiscal accountability. This goes to all countries, including the US.

The governments crack me up...

The village idiot comes to the right conclusion before the nobel laureates.
