Hey there. I get where your coming from. I guess everyone does have different opinions and different views. But deep down I think we are all the same in the fact we are who we are and we are only human. But how this relates to the human mind I am not sure. Perhaps it is the fact that we are all different in our own special unique way and that is where our mind comes into play. What do you think?

I think I am you and you are me made to believe that we are living separate lives.

I think evolution follows along a line of awareness. Dogs look in a mirror and don't know what they're looking at. They're aware, but they don't know what they are. Humans, along with a handful of other animals look in a mirror and know they are looking at themselves. The difference is humans are blinded by materialism, and the self they think they're looking at isn't who they really are, but they recognize themselves as themselves. Just a false sense of self.

Rishiana: Okay this part I understand completely to a certain degree. We look at ourselves only on what we see there. A pretty face, a nice dress or shirt, a nice pair of jeans or a cut skirt, or even a cute dress in most cases of women, and a nice pair of boots or tennis shoes depending on your preference. As far as personality wise we see what we want to see not what we need to see. We think, we are nice, we are kind, our way is better for everyone when in fault we are being selfish and only looking on the surface of our own skin not others people feelings and deep rooted troubles etc. I'll explain more where I am going with this with your next post.

With that said, I think the next step in evolution is the next step in awareness. Collective awareness. I'd be able to see out of your eyes and you'd be able to see out of mine. I'd feel what you feel. We would communicate telepathically. I'd know your thoughts. You'd know mine. We would be much more capable of confronting challenges this way, and our quality of life would be magnified beyond measure. I think this is what its about. Going from I and me to us and we.

Rishiana: Ah but do you only see the positives in such advancements? I see plenty of flaws and negatives. Because as I stated before people only see the surface problems of themselves, and on occasion a few see it happening to other people and recognize their own faults, to see and hear what everyones thoughts might be an invasion of privacy. Others may wish to use it for ill gain, others would be flabergasted and kill themselves because they realise truths they aren't ready for. Total chaos could insue. Not to mention I think that although a few would persevere the others would turn into monsters unable to control what they feel and see if you get my drift. Perhaps if we think about this and use this as an example the ancient Mayans held such capabilities at one time? Then they extinguished themselves realising that balance and order couldn't be kept because others wished for power, others greed, others wanted peace, and the last few were complete masters of their own domain and a peaceful way of life. I just think it would be too dangerous for such capabilities to be unleashed on the world evolution wise.

If I could read your thoughts and you could read mine, wouldn't you and I make sure we weren't thinking negatively? You mentioned greed. Greed, along with many or all other negative emotions, are a direct product of materialism. So if we made this transition to a place where we saw each other for who we are, materialism would be useless, because materialism is the only thing standing in our way of seeing our true selves as part and one with nature. A collective awareness would be what makes us aware of our true selves in every moment. Without materialism in the picture, the havoc you mentioned would not exist, even now. In fact, the release of materialism might be what is required to make this transition. I think the transition could be possible right now if this happened. Of course, materialism serves a purpose, and until the purpose is fulfilled, in everyone, I don't think materialism would be released. The purpose is knowledge. Materialism creates a false sense of self. Without this false sense of self, you realize you are part and one with nature(the universe). Please read this to gain a more in depth understanding on the influence of materialism so we can have a more beneficial conversation.

I think I am you and you are me made to believe that we are living separate lives.

You wrote that and when you did I came to a realization that I recently found in my spiritual journey that struck a cord and made me smile.

All is one and one is all.

I believe that is what you wish for in the world. If so... it shall happen eventually but probably not in our time.

I didn't read the thread because I don't have time. I am at work but I do understand where your going with this and it makes perfect sense. If we are to become.... we are to let go of that which has corrupted us in the first place. For examples of these I would have to say: Video Games ((As much as I hate to admit that)), Make Up definitely ((I hate it with a passion and I'm a girl o,o )), Jewlry to an extent ((I think some jewlry is very close to our hearts which is why I say to an extent)), and possibly our fashion senses such as Emo, or Goth clothes, or even clothes period. But perhaps thats "WAY" too much for our society to think about at this point in time. Honestly now that I've come to realise a few things I think your vision isn't pointless or as pointlesss as it once seemed to me. Perhaps it is time for people to start to learn to look at what is in one self and see the image that was meant to be.

But its not necessarily the materials that are the problem, its the materialism. Its when you become infatuated with the materialistic life in such a way that you forget who and what you really are. Some human creations are for our benefit while other instill a greater sense of separation.

Its all because I can be wearing one thing and you another, and now we are more different. Now we are separate from each other and separate from our original image. Now that there is a difference, there is imbalance. The imbalance is what makes me want what you have and you want what I have. That is the beginning of envy and jealousy. Envy and jealousy lead to greed which leads to war. From these negative thought patterns, all other negativity comes.
