got a call from one of my coworkers working the Tulsa area today and he witnessed this at 9:45am this morning(7-20),a commercial airliner, appearing to be a 747 ,being escorted and forced to land in the Tulsa area by military airplanes.

No big deal... I see DOE/NEST on I-40 in and around Oklahoma City, OK all the time... It's a common route as the Pantex plant in Amarillo, TX and Kirtland in Albuquerque, NM are on I-40 as well.
Most people don't notice or realize what they are looking at... I am not blessed in that way...

Why would you say "forced to land"? You are adding intent there with no real evidence. "Being escorted"? OK. I can see that, but "forced to land"? I don't think you can get there. Also, if it is a "commercial" airliner, then which airline was it? Their markings are well known. Surely, if the witness was close enough to discern the escorts, there is a good chance he could tell which airline the plane belonged to.
