Something weird caught on cell phone

Hello all.
Found this a few nights ago and was wondering if anyone had any info on it.
I am not sure if this was posted before as i used search function and nothing came up, tho i recall watching something very similar here on ATS that i cannot find at the moment.

Couple of brazilian kids goofing around on holidays taking some souvenir videos when this happens...



Can't say for sure how old the video really is but there was a Local news report on Feb 19, 2009 about it, so the video is older than that. News Report

It kinda looks like a small Ostrich/Rhea running really fast but the boys don't recognize it nor does it make the leaves on the ground move, as any high speed moving body would do. Only after i done the translation i noticed you can hear the "creature" footsteps if you pump up the volume.
Also the camera man only seem to be able to see the "creature" throw the camera on the phone, has he mentioned it on the news report done later, Cause it was moving too fast so when he looked up it was gone!

I am thinking CGI and Hoax but i can't believe this wasn't posted before and thoroughly discussed. So where is it?
Couldn't find the original/raw footage also so any help with that would also be appreciated.

Speech goes something like this:

-Hey guys i need to head back home.
-ok ok
-Guys sit there so i can record this moment for later.
-(some jibirish kids talk about how late its getting)

"Creature" passes 1st time and cameraman goes:
-Bros!! (Bixo - its slang for dude or bro)
-I just saw something strange back there!
the two guys look back and get agitated, camera man asks:
-did you see it?
they get up and cameraman says:
-no no forget it, sit back down, let me take our picture.

"Creature" passes 2nd time and footsteps are heard has the kid on left turns his head back and camera man goes:
-Holy # guys!! WTF!!
-Did you see that #???!

They simply freak out, cursing names etc like if they had just seen a ghost or something and start running!

One thought that occurred to me after the initial "is it an alien? demon? CGI?": If any terrestrial creatures existed with that kind of speed we would never really have a chance at discovering/capturing them. If they burrowed or lived in deep forests or caves we would never know.
Are chupacabras supposed to be fast like that?

Probably fake.

Nice to get a translation of what they are saying though.

If she points out the thing behind the kids, which they look back at, why didn't she turn around to look where it went?
Her camera phone focal point never changed.

Very very strange. I don't think it is a fake but whatever it is just can't be explained either.

Cool video, but a translation would be very helpful. It did sound like they got a fright.

Definately looks like an Ostrich or similar large running bird.
Looks like it stumbled across the people, paniced, ran to the lake, couldnt escape then ran back the other way.

Dimensional being! C'mon! Thats a pretty huge leap.

Man, i needed a morning laugh today. For obvious reasons, this is 100% a waste of time. I think the real issure here is why we, as a community, lack the common sense, reason and logic not to give nonsense like this the time of day. The longer we marginalize obvious idiocy like this, the less we will have to deal with it. After years and years (because of the damage already done) we will be able to promote this subject without looking like a bunch of ignorant, tin foil hat wearing morons.

Now, before I spend the time listing the immediate things that send up a warning flag that means this video would be ignored, why don't some of you put on your thinking caps and cut me off at the pass?

I getting tired of being right all the time. Years after I am banned here and marginalized by the majority of the ignorant participants in this subject I will still feel bad for the fact that we can't ever be taken seriously until common sense, reason and logic prevents moronic stuff like this from being discussed. I say moronic, because in my imaginary world the average person interested in this subject can use simple logic, reason and common sense to discount this idiotic video without further thought.

The image of phones with low quality does not record anything moving fast ..... putting a person running it will bring to this end there ..... the second front is stationary, but if there is anyone running it brings will distort the image .... TOTAL FAKE VIDEO!

The video has Fake written all over it ..... if you know what I mean

Kinda freaky was my first impression. If you haven't noticed when the guy JUST gets out of the water, there is something happening to his LEFT (that was scary). It seems something was splashing around in the water!!!! Then, after he gets out, that same thing flies right by like speedy gonzales. Maybe it WAS speedy gonzales!?>!> Yeah, I care if it is real, hence S&F. Tough to debunk. Maybe more inverting shoudl be done to see.. Thanks for the post!

if it was an ostrich or any animal, surely it wouldnt run towards the 3 people?
most wild animals would run in the opposite direction. unless it was being chased by a predator but then the kids would have spotted it

I worked on an Ostrich farm. No way an ostrich moves that fast. I know they can reach some sort of top speed in a straight away but even if the kids were in the pit area of an ostrich race, you would see more. They just don't move as fast as it appears in the video.

You can tell the angle of the legs running it looks bipedal like a human. An ostrich has knees that bend the opposite of a human.

I say its kids messing around filming another on a slow recording cell.

If it was a large bird, I am pretty sure they would have noticed it run by 10ft behind them the first time. I doubt these guys are in Africa, so no ostriches. If it was a large flightless bird it has to be a Rhea, as they are indigenous to South America. They can be about a meter and a half tall and pretty fast. So this may be what is in the video. But it does seem too fast even for a quick bird. Its just strange they didn't react to it the first time. Its kind of hard to miss a big animal running by you. I doubt it is a human running by as it is damn fast and doesn't have the shape of a human.

If they did fake it, they did a good job with the footsteps.

We flew hundreds of Ostrich to South America between 1992 and 1996. Honestly we had a c130 filled with ostrich.
They are not native to South America but there is a good chance that there are still a good population of ostrich there. Wild or not is a good question.

I noticed a trend here on VF. The skeptics usually point out that its fake without truly giving evidence otherwise. Could this effect be done with adobe after effects? Sure you can, however, you would need to be precise to match the quality of the video which is very poor.

Could this be an extra dimensional being? Yes, because they DO live among us. Where is my proof? You have your intuition to know along with science fact about the 12 dimensions.

Interesting video, I wonder if when humanity finally ascend, will we be able to move that fast? Only time will tell.
