8-3-11 Creepy Website! Can We Figure Out The Code?!?!

Im almost certain this has been done in this large thread somewhere but I just wanted to throw this in here, put this on my photo program and came up with this image when i changed the exposure

On August the 3rd I shalt give unto my friend's son for his birthday all those games that people say and condemn as trivia for I shall have no use of them and will play chess for a few weeks until I asketh for them back, for truly the world will seem to end

Anyone seen this? Anyone ever heard of this "holy book of olympia"?

The symbols does look similar.

As for the vague look, i see what you are saying. But this have me scratching my head.

Many of us here have asked multiple questions on Formspring, not even to catch 8311 out, and i don't know of any member on ATS whom received any reply on their question/s.

In addition...while most games like this have a somewhat steady stream of clues being released (the Operation: Blackjack game for instance was releasing actual, usable clues every few hours) this game has been really pretty awful about releasing usable clues. 99% of this game has been people researching clues that aren't even in the game because the game itself has been so slack about releasing new clues. The reason no one has cracked this is because the clues have been so bad. It's almost as if...yeah...it's a poorly put together game that will have no real world consequences aside from whatever joy the game planners and players have.

Posters have been found all over the world? What posters? The ones on the site? It's not like they are posting pictures of newly found posters. They are merely using the ones they already had, and probably put up themselves. If the posters are part of the game, then it would be useless to examine a poster that wasn't put up by one of the planners, since only they know what clues to leave....so them asking you to put up posters and spread the word is ONLY for the purpose of increasing hits on their site/players in the game.

Again, if there was ANY actual purpose to this, aside from something fairly goofy, then they are doing a horrible job at communicating what that is. If Jesus is returning, incredible documents being released that will change our view of some major event...or whatever...playing this game is the dumbest thing they could be doing with their time. If any reasonably intelligent person had information and wanted the world to know about it, they wouldn't play a poorly designed game on the internet to communicate their message...they'd go on CNN. I'm not saying that this is a game per se...it could be a promotional tool, a school project, some idiotic religious cult that wrongfully believes their announcement will be a big deal, some new copyright related internet group of hackers or whatever...the point is...whatever this is, 8-3-11 will come and go and our lives will still be the same, and most of the world will never even know this website ever existed.

Im not sure you have seen this yet...but it is pertinent to the "atrocious" and brutality unnecc thing....put out by yahoo news about the Oslo bombing..I believe it is all related....

Has anyone noticed that on the star the numbers 8 - 3 - 11 are in correlation to where they would be positioned on a clock?

And the sketch above that, which seems to be a view of the "statue" from the top. This one implies to me that this statue spins or turns (it does kinda look like the word rotate underneath it doesn't it) while some "sound" (maybe a message of some kind, I dunno) is being broadcast from it's "mouth".

Not sure what these things have in common or how they relate but they are the 2 things I keep coming back to on that particular drawing.

But again, it's just wild speculation on my part. But then again that's kinda par for the course here isn't it?

If the symbol was a clock, the 8 would be at the 12 position, the 11 would be at 4 or 5, and the 3 would be at 8...so I'm not sure sure how you got that they are positioned where they would be on a clock.

LOL ... really ? Gonna blatantly dismiss a thought that simply? Does the word "rotate" mean anything to you? Try it out before being so trite in your replies. Draw it and overlay it, now turn the paper til they match. Voila!!!! Correct positions.

Now I know it may not mean anything, but to simply say that because they aren't in the "upright" position means it's wrong is a bit rude. To dismiss theories or thoughts on mistaken assumptions without thought is downright ignorant in my opinion.

Think a lil'.

Or, there's the off chance that maybe you really believe I'm so daft I don't know where the numbers on a clock are? LOL

Okay, turn the image...the 3 is at a star point. The star point, if that were a clock, would be at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12...so you not only have to rotate the page, you have to rotate the image without rotating the numbers along with it. Also, 8 is in one spot, and 11 is 4 spots later. Again, 11 does not appear on a clock 4 spots after 8. Now you have to juggle the numbers to make your new idea work. As long as you are leaping that far off the logic cliff, you might as well just say that the numbers themselves are wrong and make up new ones.
