I think you fail to grasp whats going on here.

No one is scared, and no one is getting their hopes up.

We're just enjoying the attempts at decoding, and the fact that so many people have come together here, at our awesome ATS forums, to Work together, to solve a riddle ♥


thanks for reminding me about the global thing - kills the art project doesn't it? unless......
you count that its online (and internet is all over the globe) - maybe they're going to post a video of their project online - they would get plenty of attention seeing as how its spread the last few days

I was thinking more along the lines that because it was a retraction, they wanted to garner as much attention as possible before coming out with it. We all know that, for instance, if a newspaper were to print a retraction, it is on page 43F in the want ads or something so ridiculous it is usually not seen. You have to really go looking for it.

I think it explains why they were surprised to have such a large response, and were happy with it. If it continues to grow at such a viral pace, perhaps they will be assured the retraction will be seen by many more people than they had hoped or expected.

The other part of waiting for that date is, they must wait for a specific event to happen on or before August 2, 2011. Something has to happen, FIRST, *then* they can move forward.

I think that's a huge clue, but it is anyones' guess what.

Debt ceiling deadline.

That looks like band fliers advertising for a concert? Think the words are just the band names and its unrelated.

Since when have you spoken on behalf of everyone on ATS? I've personally read on other forums about this topic and they go on about stuff like the world ending.... etc, obviously unaware that this whole thing is just a hoax, but the fact remains that things like this will have an effect, people spreading disinfo, even the people on the site say that the message has been distorted.

Yes it is advertising for a band. The band is called Society Nvrse I think. They have a show on 8-3-11. The writing on the flyer is the same as the writing in the drawings.

You know, "global" means more than the US of A. Really I tried to be silent the first dozen times when seeing US-americans trying to connect that webpage to their social security problems which may arise on 3rd of August, but really.. the world is a bit bigger than the USA, most of the belle pictures are from a spanish speaking countries etc. etc. and no one of the people behind this could have known (or does know) if the US debt ceiling will be raised or not when the webpage was put online. People will always go to the end of the world thing with things like this. Its the times that we live in. I really dont think is college related or a study at all. I believe this is an announcement of some sort sort. I really dont think the actual belle has anything to do with it, the picture though, does. Having hidden things inside of it makes me think something big.

Having star systems hidden in the picture is a long way to go to spread the word for their crappy band.

Like I said before, I dont think these 5 people even know the real truth. I think they may have been contacted by someone that is in the know to create all of this and they will give them the info on 8 3 11. Then they will release what they are told. Look at that video with the cassette tapes, with their #'s on it and the date. I bet they know as much as we know.

Unless they plan to give away their music for free, I agree.
If we pick and choose what to include in our analysis, and what not to include.... we can at least agree they've been extremely adament this is not a marketing scheme

of course they could be lying - but I'm not feeling it

I also agree, and good point - Belle is pretty much irrelevant, they've said she did not know about this (until recently) and she was nothing more than a "symbol" to their cause - which makes me think we should be looking more at the symbols
