While they do not specifically say music/band, in the not for profit info, they do tell people they should not profit either - fans are allowed to make Tshirts but should only charge enough to cover costs - its in the formspring Q&A

I think Multimedia covers it - and also that they say "we are not marketing"

"Rage Inside the Window" tells the very sad story from a girl who has been neglected by her uncaring mother. Why did you search your inspiration in such a horrifying thing?

I first became aware of this horrible event by watching an evening program on television. The story enraged me, but intrigued me even more. The neglect and inattention was so damaging to this little girl that she had no form of communication whatsoever. I contemplated on the idea of what it would be like to exist without a way to communicate and with the only form of expression being pure primal rage. I was compelled, from those emotions, to create a soundtrack based on this damaged girl’s childhood life.

You see, it is so open to interpretation by individuals, as has been pointed out so many times in the thread.

We each see things that fit for us. Without *facts*, we have very little. He even said we have all the information, we are just having trouble putting things together.

I do not recall seeing anywhere he said to bring an umbrella, can you link to that info please?

Just a couple other Formspring questions that I've felt may make this more than just a social experiment, and since Formspring is about the only thing we have to go on, I think it might be important..

Do you wish you had done this sooner? if not, what hindered you from doing this last year?

Hmm. That's interesting. They specifically stated very early on that this *event* is taking place "much sooner than they expected." That doesn't really jive too well with it "having to be" on 8•3•11, does it?

The only answer I can offer is that perhaps they have gotten that question often, and rather than answer it, they posted it with no reply to make the statement,

"we aren't going to answer it"

or

"make up your own mind about that"

*shrug* It's one of those things open to inteprpetation, I suppose, but he did say it was not indicative of any alleged answer. Perhaps it was the same person that kept asking, and they wanted to make them aware they were getting the question, so stop spamming it? lol

It is anyones' guess, really.

I think it is because of the flow of global politcal events, and how things seem to have progressed very rapidly. They did also state that it had to do with freedom and inferred it was political.

To me, it seems there is something pending that they have to wait for first, before they can progress, and without knowing what they know, it is speculative to try to figure that one out. It has to be 8-3-11, because 8-2-11 would be too soon, too. I take it to mean 8-3-11 is the absolute earliest date possible, for whatever reasons, now.

The whole thing is trying to figure out exactly *why* 8-3-11, not just the what. Perhaps the why will answer the what, but it may be the opposite.

Remember in any investigation: who, what, where, when, why are all the questions that should be answered.

I do admit I found several discrepancies among the older/newer questions and answers, though. Several didn't seem to jive, and I chalked that up to simply being the temporary absence of the person answering. Different people will give similar answers, but always interject themselves into it somehow.

I do think, for the most part, they answer the questions as a group, as well, because they stated, "we find some questions rather entertaining". A lot of what you take away from the questions and answers is inference. I think that is intended, perhaps to help or hint, but also perhaps to confuse.

It makes it rather hard at times to simply go with facts.

The image of the boy was found on a random google search - as far as we know its unrelate, (though may have been used to change the eye of Belle - as its understood Belle had a skin condition "at least" at the time the image was taken.
