Kind of a sideways coincidence but two of the actors, playing an astronaut and a reporter were the same 2 actors that played President Elias Martinez (another black president) and Leader of the Aliens Sophia in the recent TV series "The Event". That show was said to be predictive programming as well.

in the movie, the President says August 16th is Doomsday. October 16th is Elenin's closest approach to Earth. Comet Honda will be closest to Earth on what day - I'll give you one guess

August 15th 2011 is the exact date.

Remember that Comet Honda is still 8.98 million kilometers away from the earth which is far more closer than elenin will ever be (274 million kilometers)

From what I have learned, both are not worth worrying about but I cannot for the life of me understand why people are not making a fuss about Comet Honda if there is to be a fuss of any kind as it comes much closer.

Some will claim it's a coincidence, I personally don't think so. I am currently on the fence as to whether Comet Elenin even exists. So from that you can gather than I don't think for one second Elenin will be an impact event.
Elenin is not the problem, if it exists, it will miss us by millions of miles.

My theory is that TPTB are intentionally mirroring events from the movie to lesson the effect of coming news. An impact event of non-extinction proportions.

You could ask why will the 'fake birth certificate' not go away? Is it because they want you to know/believe he has been 'planted' there for a reason? Then again, maybe it's just because some people don't like him.

It's probably worth pointing out also, that the events of 9/11 also mimicked a scene from the movie 'Armageddon'. But just one scene, visually.

As for Bruce's phone number, I got it, but with the recent phone hacking dramas, its probably best I dont give it out!

This is one of 4 movies that truly freaked me out and still do each time I watch them. It take a lot to scare me in a movie and this one and "The Day After Tomorrow" are tops...followed by "Signs" and "War of the Worlds."

These certainly are a lot of coincidences!

If it is just that then it's a good one...if not

I would say the real elenin..even the way it just happened to be 'discovered' is remarkable to say the least but for the other stuff..black president.. i think there are plenty of that if you go back long enough, it was the idea then..just as 'a woman president' can be marketed...throw in the budget, resignations, spendthrifting..welcome to the politics of every known government my friend

Because it's named after a rather dull motorbike and car manufacturer - therefore the comet itself must be rather dull and really not worth worrying about.

Whereas Elenin is named after, er, some place in Russia no-one has heard of ...... but the first 3 letters were once used in a film to mean something therefore it must mean this comet will destroy the entire world (ie the USA).

Those were good movies, (well I disagree with the Day after Tomorrow, personally) but one you forgot...Knowing.
That movie really struck a chord with me. Just watched it again last week. Throughout the movie you see leaves and wind blowing, showing to me, it was fall. And it was. The date of the giant solar flare in that movie, October 19th.

Dont forget theres a quick scene in the film where its daytime and there are two suns!
Its probbly far fetched but I have to admit there a lot of similarities

I liked Knowing but it didn't really freak me out like the others. I figured at least it would be quick!

Yeah October of this year will be an interesting one. If something happens well then ok if not life goes on. Im not worried either way. If a comet were to hit or something like in Knowing you can't stop it. You just have to enjoy life now

Bravo, Bravo...I read a thread a few days ago about this same thing (I think you created it) but I love the fact that you have a nice video & also some written details to compare. I have actually added Deep Impact to my Netflix que. I always liked Deep Impact a little better than Armageddon due to the fact it seemed more realistic. The part that always gives me chills is at the end when Tea is standing on the shore with her dad & you see this gigantic 200 ft wave just engulf them. Pretty scary.

It brings to mind the sequences from the TV show 24. A white male prez, then a black male prez, and then a white female prez.

I think the poster who posted the physics example was correct in every way.The double slot is the test that applies here. Matter will tend to conform and work to please consciousness. Millions of people viewing the film in the past could be shaping the future, unknowingly.

That is the science correct? Everyone alive at the time watched the original star trek. And now we have cell phones, scanners like we see on the paranormal shows, thermal imaging, laser pistols, and in some experiments we have even broken down matter and moved it, though the expense is greater than any use imaginable.


The deep impact movie matches. It would be interesting to see the matching points of all of the rest of the similar movies, even if it was just a spread sheet with the hit cells flood filled in each column.

I guess Paul Verhoeven is also in on it too. Go back and watch Starship Troopers and compare it to the start of the War on Terror. There are hundreds of movies made every year. Eventually life will imitate art in some way and people will claim some precognitive abilities or conspiracy, but in truth it is just coincidence.

How can you say they are coincidences ?? More like VERY good prognostications, or even insider knowledge, makes for good INSIDER trading.

Upon the most recent view of ELE-nin it was noted that there are several objects ahead of and trailing the Comet.

Speculation would conclude that since it punched through the Oort cloud it is bringing some companions with it that will not stay on the same trajectory. Either ELE-nin has company or it has fragmented somehow already (which in a way matches the movie).

The only difference in the Movie is that tptb survive! In real life they will be trapped underground.

I do have to agree, we have been so programmed that Honda is not even a thought to most people. Eventually the billiard balls are going to hit something!

So let's not forget that on Aug 2 we get to see another view of ELE-nin, however, it might be time for all of us to be demanding to see Honda as well.
