Prophecy, LOL....I'm sorry, but that video does more to make Kanye West to look like a moron than it does to show racism. He made his comments at the wrong place at the wrong time and made himself look like a fool.

What he says, however, is probably true.....I'm not disputing that part.

However, I can't respect what OP is doing here. Again, I have a hard time believing this is a black man. I may be stereotyping myself but I believe a certain kind of black man would post to this kind of forum. In my mind, that black man wouldn't even give a voice to this kind of ridiculousness, if that's even a word.

I suspect a bit of reverse psychology is at play here.

while I do not hate anyone and have toaught that concept to my daughter since birth, I do believe a person can make certain judgements about people to avoid a unhealthy lifestyle and a safer future. Avoiding cigs and drugs is a basic start.Some is still based on the Bible for myself, you can disagree. Do not be promiscuous,associate with these type of people, including drug users, alcoholics, and the like. I also include homosexuality. It is my right to say so and not agree with it.

The word hate is very negative and never helpful and serves no purpose to help any situation.

This is all about social conditioning. They want one race to be apologitic and the other to point out anything considered racist. As long as you are not physically hurting another or in some negative way affecting your life, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of you or your race. I know there are people that don't like me because I'm white. Thats their hang up not mine. If you have hate in your heart, thats between you and your Creator. In a free society, think and feel however you see fit. When you cross that line though and act out that hate, then you get whatever happens to you. There has and always people of every race that are racist. Get over it.

She has a Twitter and MySpace account and judging by the pics of her and her black friends... The video was obviously intended to be tongue-in-cheek. She comes off as immature with astoundingly poor judgement. Hopefully she'll have learned something from this.

Some people are just very, very dumb.

Oh, and her worship of Justin Bieber is even more unforgivable!

Funny you should say that, Cry, because I was thinking the same thing. Not so much that the OP wasn't a black man, but that he might be someone just trying to create a high-profile thread because this is definitely a hot topic on ATS. You could be onto something there. I think most black people would not focus on this girl's rantings, either, in light of the fact that there are so many other racist activities that occur that far outweigh this in severity that could be discussed.

Well seems her video bit her in the ass.

As it should, I'm all for freedom of speech but be ready to have to such freedom said back.

You really took a lesson from Saskue and Pain! And you're right, they're right. You can never understand unless you've shared the same pain. Now with that said and now that I think about it what is the point of this thread? The girl looks like she isn't even 18, lives with her parents, and hasn't even been out in the real world. There are people and videos out there that are many times worse than her.

This isn't a bonfire or a psych room, You won't be hearing any stories from me, it is irrelevant. You don't have to be black to understand, and you don't have to be in the south. The fact that you find these issues a waste of time and lack of understanding as to why people are angry is enough to say you DON'T understand the pain. Because IF you did, you wouldn't need me to share stories, you would automatically understand why people are angry, and you wouldn't think the issue is a waste of time.

And I'm not supporting the woman in the original video, not even a little bit.

I don't think too many people with black friends would post something derogatory towards blacks like that, and I don't think her black friends would laugh or appreciate it. But this is just my opinion.... No ill intent
