In late July 2010, Rep. Michele Bachmann’s then-communications director, Dave Dziok, told his boss that he planned to take a new job with the public relations firm Edelman.

Dziok had worked for Bachmann for two and a half years, a relatively long period by the standards of her office, and was leaving on good terms.

Staff turnover can frustrate any employer, but Bachmann responded more dramatically. Dziok’s departure triggered a debilitating medical episode that landed the congresswoman in urgent care.

“Within 24 hours she was in the hospital,” a former aide says.

So the loss of a staff member results in being overwhelmed and "incapacitated"? Yet she thinks she can run our nation and be the leader of the free world? We better do everything we can to keep her far away from the White House.

Is it just me or are the GOP candidates falling apart? Romney is being ripped to shreds for 'Romneycare' and his jumping on the global warming thing. Cain is coming out against Muslims and is essentially shredding the Constitution. Bachmann can't handle stress plus her husband would be trying to pray the gay out of America constantly. Gingrich's staff fell apart.

And they say Ron Paul is "unelectable"? Geez...

An old, rich white woman in the United States addicted to anti-anxiety, amphetamines and pain killers? No way, never. Anyone acting as outlandish as Bachmann should be suspected of drug use and/or dementia, neither of which should be a valued characteristic of a politician. The jerk-offs on capital hill have ten times the amount of skeletons in the closet as your average citizen.

i don't exactly support bachmann, or any other candidates running for office. not much choice if you ask me.

but to be fair:

this happened a year ago. people are claiming drug related issues because she collapsed within 24 hours of someone leaving her side on good terms? there's no evidence that her collapse had anything to do with that, and i'm sure she had quite a bit of a warning before he left, if it was on "good terms".

"three witnesses who worked close with her say it wasn't an isolated incident". right. "witnesses".

I can't believe anyone would call this a political hit piece. (sarcasim).
