The attack on Rupert Murdoch this afternoon in the Commons Select Committee, by a British Comedian (Jonnie Marbles), yet again highlights the lack of
security within the Commons.
Recent high profile security breaches at the Commons including "Fathers for Justice" and the Fox hunting lobby have proved again and again that if
Terrorists were determined enough, they too could breach the Commons. Worrying thought.
Incidentially the Comedian (Jonnie Marbles) who launched the PhoneGate-Pie-Attack was allowed to enter the building, pass security holding a plastic
carrier bag and was shown a seat in the Select Committee gallery.
The bag contained a cardboard plate and an aerosol can of whipped cream.
This is an astonishing breach of Security, given the plastic bag had the potential to contain a bomb.
I would imagine that the security at the Commons will be further tightened in light of this situation, or at least one would expect this to be the
case.
Regards.
