I just came across this video while doing my daily routine of scanning new videos on that web site. I've never seen this video before, and the first thing that caught my eye was the hand imprints on the plates of metal (control devices?)
IDK it's interesting.....what do you all think?

Mods if this has been posted, my apologies and please delete.

other wise enjoy!www.liveleak.com...

That newscast is a composition .

If memory serves those : artifacts: were shown on a known hoaxed alien autopsy film .

The voiceover is from a radio broadcast .

It seems whoever made it just did some minor editing .

BTW i recommend you take the time to familiarize yourself with the search function on ATS , There have been threads on this before .

Well, I have never seen this particular video before , so thanks for posting it. It deserves some investigation, although something about the frame rate tells me it may be made on a digital camera (sighs). It does deserve some study so I hope its not dismissed without some good evidence of fraud.

I am pretty sure that I have seen the Hand Control thingy elsewhere. As far as I can tell from a cursory search of the web this footage is considered 'new'.

I have to say though that at this point in the game these artifacts are starting to look pretty silly.

A six fingered hand control? It looks like something out of a B science fiction movie; like state of the art sci-fi props, maybe from Forbidden Planet. I don't mean to be lightly sarcastic here, I really mean it.
Those hand control things are silly. Anything that could be presumably accomplished with those 'controls', which have no apparent mechanical control interface, could just as presumably be accomplished with something like an EKG pad.

And those i-beams are even sillier. They really do look more and more like bad props form our 2011 perspective.

Dontcha' think?

Were those symbols on the side of that piece?

Yes, the images do 'swim' a little bit; as though the CMOS rolling shutter effect were present. I don't have a lot of experience looking at old black and white footage like this, though.

And, although everything appears to be very 'lite' when picked up, why does it look so disproportionately bulky?

It is described as being like a 'box kite'.

If I were going to make a box kite I would use balsa wood. But I would not use great big thick pieces of balsa wood. I don't know. Something is off. It just looks a little too much like what folks of that era would expect if they were shown alleged 'parts from a crashed UFO'.

That's hilarious!
The old news broadcast is real, the aluminum bits are real, but from alien origin

Adding sepia to the video was not enough to sell it,I think they should have added more film effects.

Interesting.

I totally believe that aliens crashed at Roswell, but I'm not sure this is real.

This could have been hoaxed really easily.

It is interesting to note that the markings on the metal, and the shapes of the metal itself are almost identical to the ones described by Jesse Marcel, Jesse Marcel Jr., and other Roswell witnesses. Of course for a decent hoaxer this wouldn't be any trouble to include.

I recall seeing this boxy, hand-impression 'control panel' in one of three versions of the Ray Santilli 'Alien Autopsy' video shown on television, some years ago. The autopsy itself was apparently a hoax, but Santilli said, at one point, he had some real footage, too. I wonder if this could be it. The criticism of the control panel seems based on how it looks. How we would know what the control panel of an extraterrestrial space ship should look like, or how it could work is beyond me. For all we know, that box could have fit neatly into a depression in a larger control surface, making for a perfectly flat surface. The box may simply be a removable modular unit. I don't recall if the 'alien' in the autopsy had six fingers on its hands or not; Will have to check that. Ross

Indeed it does. I remember noticing that when it was first broadcast in the 90's.

I'm guessing it's taking a while to track down any sources for when this "Old News Report" was "Shown", so I will end the suspense give you the source.

This footage is known as The Santilli film.

It was silent film. The audio track has been artificially dubbed in from a completely different case where an actual recording of a radio broadcast of the AP wire story from Roswell on the day of the "AAF Captures Flying Disk" newspaper headlines.

Thankfully wikipedia provides the details so I don't have to type them in.

...Fox television broadcast the striking footage in the United States on August 28, 1995 under the title Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction.[1]

The program caused a sensation, with Time Magazine declaring that the film had sparked a debate "with an intensity not lavished on any home movie since the Zapruder film".[2] Fox re-broadcast the program twice, each time to higher ratings, with the November 1995 broadcast winning its time slot again with 11.7 million viewers and a 14% share.

....Alien artifacts, supposedly items recovered from the crash site, were depicted in the footage. These included alien symbols and six-finger control panels...

...The film was exposed as a hoax in 2006, when Santilli admitted the film was not in fact authentic, but a staged "reconstruction" of footage he claimed he had viewed in 1992, which had deteriorated and become unusable by the time he made his film.

...In the documentary, Eamonn Holmes repeatedly refers to the film as a "fake," while Santilli patiently insists it is a "restoration," maintaining it is a "reconstruction" of an actual alien autopsy film he viewed in the early 1990s, that subsequently deteriorated.

Santilli and Shoefield stated that they had "restored" the damaged footage by filming a simulated autopsy on a fabricated alien, based upon what Santilli saw in 1992...

Maybe people should actually read other peoples responses when they post something instead of carrying on about crap over and over again that has allready been explained .

Hopefully people actually read your post . HOPEFULLY .

Then again, perhaps ignorance really is bliss . . .

No , to the best of my knowledge this entire footage has never been seen before. The hand plate panels , yes they are the same, but this footage is new to me .. If this had been shown on the fox program it would have been all over u tube by now I think. It deserves inspection .

So you still say this footage and soundtrack were 'Shown On Old News Report'?

Any luck finding sources yet?

What News Report and when.

Yes but we already know what the outcome will be, don't we.

Sad.

Nice of you to remain hopeful though!

(P.S. maybe he was in too big a hurry and missed the part where "Santilli admitted the film was not in fact authentic, but a staged "reconstruction".)

Now the stance has changed to "Yeah well, this is the directors cut, never seen before".

Oh how nice, extra scenes from an ADMITTED FAKE.

DisturbedToo - By stating in the OP "I've never seen this video before..." and then after being shown where it came from and when, PLUS it is an admitted hoax, most honest people would just cop to it and say "oops my bad".

You however -still- contend "It deserves inspection ."

One can only conclude that it is YOU who fraudulently dubbed in the wrong soundtrack and uploaded it. Then come on here and start a thread about it.

How's the scam coming along? Getting lots of hits?

Ok time for me to say oops MY bad!

Last rant was for bluemooone2, not DisturbedToo, who will 'hopefully' cop to an honest mistake of never having seen the Santilli footage before or hearing the Roswell AP recording before. (AND not bothering to provide a source, as in WHAT Old News Report?)

How say you bluemooone2? Why would a admitted hoax video with a new fake soundtrack deceptively added, "deserve inspection"??

Two hoaxes are better than one?
