It is not a wise thing to do when you tell others to read history when you yourself are ignorant of it.
I was simply asking a legitimate question which is what people do when they don't know something.
Not really a hard concept to grasp

Perhaps you can show me where I told anyone to read a history book. I was simply asking a legitimate question which is what people do when they don't know something.

Don't look for honest information where you won't get one.

For once, why don't you give us an unbiased source?
This article is a complete distortion of what he says.
Here is the actual interview on the Israeli channel 2.
reshet.ynet.co.il...
Nowhere in this interview does he say that all settlers are terrorists. He is referring to the “tag price” group that is suspected in burning mosques and olive trees. He very clearly say that this group is the “minority of the minority”. He goes on to say: “the outright majority of the settlers in Judea and Samaria, are peaceful law abiding citizens, and it's are duty to protect them.”

From the history I've read, most of the Jews now living in Israel have no genetic link to the land they now live on..

It is totally irrelevant whether they have a genetic link or not. The fact is that Israel is there and Jews have every right to live on the land that was granted to them and conquered during various conflicts.
I am of opinion that Israel should be forced to accept the 1967 border and all illegal settlements either removed or destroyed. In reality, it's not going to happen as long as the US is not bankrupt. As soon as the US goes down, Israel is out there on its own and I have strong doubts that the status quo will then still be sustainable.
