As above. Winds in excess of 140 km an hour tore through the Bluesfest on it's closing night. The article reports that "The band Cheap Trick ran
from the stage seconds before the stage collapsed and their road crews emerged minutes later to rescue instruments. The drum kit appeared to be

wow if a thunderstorm did that, then i really do not want see how bad hurricanes are going to be in the east coast of US this year.
Argh! I can't get 'that' song out of my head now... Seriously though, I'm glad noone was badly injured, if that had happened anywhere else in the
world i'm sure it would've been much worse. Are all your summer storms that fierce? I hope its not an early warning for a bad winter.

This year the storms have been huge, I mean as far as the thunderstorms we have been getting. Ottawa is adjacent to a large valley called the Ottawa Valley. When weather tracks up it, it's pretty bad.
