Well things arent looking good for the Turkey/Iran region after the recent attack which left 13 Turkish soldiers dead in an ambush by Kurdish terrorists and especially after this one with Iranians.

The orders to stage an ambush that led to the deaths of 13 Turkish soldiers in Diyarbakır's Silvan district on Thursday were given by a faction inside the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), known as “the hawks” or “the deepers,” a reference to their shadowy relations with illegal groups within the Turkish state structure, called the deep state, intelligence reports have claimed.

A major war?

Dude, this war has been going on for over 30 years and over 40.000 Turks (including Kurds who stay behind Turkey) alone have died!!!! PJAK is the same as PKK, HPG or what also they scum call themselves.

What I could imagine is that the PKK will flee to Syria and Turkey invading (Turkey has done this before and will do this another time, if needed) to destroy their camps there.

First of all im not your dude, second turkey cant invade syria becouse iran wont allow it, Israel and usa are going after iran, will turkey help their iranian friend no they wont unless they want to fight , Israel and Usa has always helped PKK and will do so with fighting iran.

Yarly? I know, you have none.

You make no sense at all. First you speak of a so called "major" war and then you deny one, as if you've had any idea.
Furthermore, why would Iran stop Turkey from destroying PKK camps inside Syria, that actually DO harm Iran just as well?

As if Iran was Syria's guardian... seriously... you have no #ing clue, except for the fact that USA and Israel are indeed behind the PKK. F+, congratulations!

It's also new to me that Turkey (or any other country) needs permission to defend themselves. Iran can't [censored] with Turkey. If you've had only known how many Azeris in Northern Iran live. I'm sure they would love to unite with Azerbaijcan.

Both Turkey and Iran are too smart to fall for the aims of the PKK/PJAK and to destabilize the area.

Iran didn't ask Turkey/USA/NATO for permission to go into Iraq either btw.

Why lock the thread?

Let this be a warning to the regime, you do not mess with an intelligent people who have been born and raised in warfare. Especially not when they have Israeli guns. Sad that 21 men had to lose their lives because of the ideological superiority the Iranian regime claims, enough people have been killed while they are all brothers and sisters with history intertwined as threads in rope. Why make an enemy out of your lost brothers and sisters?

Lets see what happens, this is the scenario -

Iran attacks Israel >>Israel USA destroy Iran
Iran asks for help from partners Turkey- turkey says no
Iran Hits Turkey
Turkey helps Iran - USA and Israel destroy both
PKK, PJAK join the war with Israel and USA to destroy Iran
USA tells Turkey to help them
USA asks Turkey " can we please use your bases to attack Iran"

Turkey doesn't know which way to go and acts like a turkey

Why lock? Because this is in the WWIII forum and 21 Iranian soldiers being killed in South Krudistan isnt going to spark off WWIII. Its not even going to spark off a local conflict!! This should be in the breaking aleternative news section.

the way this could play out, and it is not good, Iran says US forces where behind the deaths of Iran's forces not the Kurd's.
Iran uses bio chem weapon's on the Kurds.
US says it repelled a invasion by Iran.
Iran sends in more troops into Iraq.
Now any of them could be the start of the new gulf war, Iraq vs Iran. With US getting out or getting back in. I think we would go in, thus stopping the withdrawal, and making a big build up, now Iran would have to say "if US gets involved it will have no choice but to defend it self and strike Israel" making us the US back down, Israel strike Iran and then it is a hole new ball game. Yes this could be the start of the US Iran war, thus the WW3 of end time when nukes are used but then Iran has no nukes, yet or do they? if you had a nuke for Israel would you say you had it?

You just made about a hundred leaps in logic there on how this could trun into WWIII. I could play that game with events that are much more likely than this and i still dont see it happening!!

Iran using biochems on the Kurds? Are you serious?

This thread is exactly where it should be.
The WWIII forum's purpose:

World War Three: This forum is reserved for discussion of the powder-keg type atmosphere surrounding the events in the Middle-East, Africa, and Asia; and the geopolitical influences on the uprisings happening there, which combined appear to be the core beginning of World War Three.

Please make a note of that before you suggest a thread be closed.

There are more likely scenarios posted in the Breaking Alternative news section that would lead to WWIII than are posted here. Id suggest you have some of those topics moved to this forum then.

why yes i am did you not know this was done 2 times before? the first time was in the Iran Iraq war, the argument is: Was it chem or bio www.newworldencyclopedia.org... Iran would say payback for what Iraq did to them, from the link

Weapons of Mass Destruction

With more than 100,000 Iranian victims of Iraq's chemical and biological weapons during the eight-year war, Iran is, after Japan, one of the world's top afflicted countries by Weapons of Mass Destruction.

The official estimate does not include the civilian population contaminated in bordering towns or the children and relatives of veterans, many of whom have developed blood, lung, and skin complications, according to the Organization for Veterans of Iran.

Nerve gas agents killed about 20,000 Iranian soldiers immediately, according to official reports. Of the 90,000 survivors, some 5,000 seek medical treatment regularly and about 1,000 are still hospitalized with severe, chronic conditions. Many others were hit by mustard gas.
and then the second time by Iraq on the Kurds history1900s.about.com... from the link

Chemical Weapons Against Kurds

As early as April 1987, the Iraqis used chemical weapons to remove Kurds from their villages in northern Iraq during the Anfal campaign. It is estimated that chemical weapons were used on approximately 40 Kurdish villages, with the largest of these attacks occurring on March 16, 1988 against the Kurdish town of Halabja.
now do you think the world would sit and do nothing if Iran used such weapons ? do you not think the US and Israel would not get involved ? If you do then you do not know the one reason we went into Iraq in the first place er 2nd time around.and was it Iran that got gassed/bio bombed in 1988? search.yahoo.com...
from the link

... month after the ... civilians were killed. The Iraqi ... and the Kurds had returned. Iran gassed the Kurds by accident] In March 1991 as the massive US-led attack on Iraq ...

war is hell, and it is the civilians that pay the most.

This may not necessarily be entirely relevant but Turkey is on the US side we have a pretty substantial base there. I just dont see them trying to start anything with us because of that fact alone

So Saddamm Hussein gassed the Kurds and now Iran has attacked the Kurds. Sounds to me like no one likes them. How does this turn int o WWIII again?
