Who is the DJ at the Olympics Opening Ceremonies?

Does anyone know who it is? I didn't know there was a DJ until they put the camera on him for a second or two.

Also, mods, what do you think of making an Olympics section in the forums?

It was DJ Tiesto.

He played techno during the nearly 2h parade of athletes.

Yes his name is Tiesto, dj tiesto, real name Tijs Verwest, has dj'd for about 18/19 years has been in collaboration to produce 'Progressive, uplifting tech-Trance' music with Ferry Corsten under the guise of 'System F'. Came ranked as the worlds number 1 dj in the 'DJ MAGAZINE'. He's from Holland, and has since made it really big (or it has definatley aided him somewhat) after he exploded onto the British Clubbing scene a couple of years back via the infamous 'Gatecrasher' of which was held every saturday night at 'The Republic' Nightclub, Sheffield, England.
