If Reverted To A Barterring System...Where Would You Stand?

Throughout recorded history, mankind survived by employing a barterring system which basically traded one persons skills for another. This had nothing to do with monetary compensation but everything to do with a "tit for tat" working relationship...a boat would be built for newly sewn clothing, a house would be built for fresh food, a teacher would be provided with all living essentials...etc.

If we reverted to this kind of a "money-free" trading of wares, where would you stack up? Would you survive? Would you prosper?

Just curious. I figure many wouldn't have a prayer.

Ok, seriously, I was always for the bartering system.
I mean it don't get any easier. not untill the Romans invaded most of europe did people even know about "money".

Interesting thought. I dont know where I would stand, I think I fall under the old cliche "Jack of all trades, master of none"!

PA thats probably the best skills to have, it would be nice to see al the lawyers starving ....
