Google: Playboy Story May Violate Rules

The article in the September 2004 issue of Playboy entitled "Playboy Interview: Google Guys" could have potentially violated the so-called "quiet period" that limits communication by company executives ahead of their IPO.

The company also disclosed that there were three updates or corrections to information in the article regarding the storage space of its Gmail service, the number of company employees and the number of Google search engine users.
