EU Offers To Build Democratic Institutions

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso has offered to help Libya's rebels establish democratic institutions if they are able to defeat the forces of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

The European Commission president said the EU is ready to assist the Libyan rebels in organizing elections, creating an effective judiciary and organizing civil society and a free media.

The problem i have with this statement

What this part in the article actually means that the elections in the post war libya the elections if the rebels win, the elections wont be free at all, but rather westernized, and the election candidates would be already picked by the EU and America, nato The post war libya election candidate would be all and must a pro Washington policy.

Thats what it means by the EU is ready interfere in organizing the rigged elections, o f course people can vote but honestly just like here, the votes wont matter, since they already know who to pick.

Ah yes the spread of Americanism and Westernization creating a western civil society.

a free media? thats a good laugh because our mainstream news currently isnt free, what they plan for libya is to create a pro western news mainstream media, everything positive and all good things been said about EU and America.

Really? i dont buy that claim in this article, what about the Rebel terrorists attacks civilians in some western areas in the past two months?



So you see what the western elitist governments and the EU has planned for libya? to create libya has it once was a pro american government in libya controlling the resources of the country.

Thats what NATO and America did with Serbia after the war, literary they created a pro american government in Serbia having pro Washington standings, and have created a NATO Youth Institution, brainwashing the Serbian youth, and other pro western Democratic Institutions, it seems thats what they have planned for libya.

Western leaders and the bankers have a lot to gain by getting a grip in Libya. Oil and location are two of the main factors.We can help out just like we did in Afghanistan and Iraq too. The sad thing is that Libya is just one of the many countries on the list to invade. Iraq or Pakistan anyone? I cringe at the thought of another Western organized election in a country we don't belong in.

Will the EU also help rebuild the cities that their bombs have leveled?

I hope their idea of helping set up elections isn't like their solution to the human rights issue. Maybe they'll start bombing all the Anti-European candidates' homes.

I bet Halliburton will be getting a very large contract in the event Gaddafi falls.
