The user search on the EZboard didn't work for me.

I have a feeling that this is the correct dot that FTR site was talking about...... the one at isthisthering.php

Well remember the clue 8/12 was

Ok, FTR said the dot conceals and decieves. I am taking it that it means left and not right. As FTR says "but not right"

So, this will explain the it should be clue on FTR now

I can't even get the p084.ezboard.com... link to load. Something is funky with that ezboard.

I'm looking at it in Animation Shop and it does say "Which line should it be?"

And the ringis.gif doesn't have any animation to it.

As far as I can see... all moderators have the "Man In Black" title...

perhaps it was someone who claimed to be a moderator but wasn't?

Not the best way to find it, but then I saw the "Man in Black" thing next to his name, so I figured that must be it.
