Seriously, what is wrong with law enforcement. This should alert them to investigate the issue behind it. It is their job to look after civil welfare. Instead of Florida Cops going after peaceful organization for feeding the hungry, they should look into crimes that matter to society like this man's home being ransacked. Instead of harassing and beating innocent civilians in this country they should look into real crimes that matter in this country because there is no shortage of crime. It's obvious a crime like this should warrant immediate police action. Our country is being robbed by criminal bankers and run by bribed politicians, our law enforcement need to focus on crimes. Law enforcement needs to understand that they are hired on the public's money and should work for the public. That means investigating the government's representatives for criminal behavior. The people are outrage and shouldn't hold back their anger, law enforcement need to be reminded who they work for and do their jobs.

A Brooksville, Florida man who fell behind on his mortgage payments had his home trashed and ransacked mafia style by paid thugs hired by his mortgage company. This stunning attack on multiple Constitutional rights is apparently not important enough for the local police who have claimed this is a civil issue!

VIDEO IS HERE: theintelhub.com...

According to Altman, the woman from the mortgage company told him Florida is a “self help state,” and that’s why they are allowed to do this. However, Altman explained he was holding the mortgage and Florida is not a self help state. He says he told the woman Florida has strict mortgage foreclosure laws and they were being violated by the company. But the Hernando Sheriff’s Office apparently has no interest in enforcing those laws… or burglary, breaking and entering and trespassing, either. They say it is a civil matter, even though everything from the house was taken or thrown in the dumpster. The wedding dress belonging to Boudreau’s wife was even cut to shreds.

At leas it wasn't a student loan and the swat team sent in.
Debt drives the world mad
I see problems all around in this situation from the mortgage holder to the thugs, the bank trying to collect and the police.
seems like a few lawsuits might be in order

Too bad that guy wasn't armed. He should have been armed and done everything in his power to protect what was his, so these thugs think twice (if they are alive to do so) about terrorizing another American family. It's time to start protecting what is ours against all enemies, especially domestic.

Wow, this is my nightmare as I am struggling, and I mean struggling, to get things together and move out of my home.

Thanks for posting. Prayer is an important part of my life, and meditating on what frightens or oppresses me is the first step, then bringing it before the Lord and asking Him not to let this happen to me is the next.

I think of this as a prod to get to facing down this possibility, doing all I can to move quickly, and etc.

Probably why they are doing it, lol.

My home is full of disappointment and memories, and hard work, gardens, restoration (it is an historical home), and a lot more, but I cannot leave fast enough.

The idea that people like this will come and do this is horrifying and they know it.

Florida cops, along with Texan cops, NY cops and Washington DC cops are the most corrupt in the US... I wouldn't even try talking to them, they are either too stupid or too corrupt to really talk to you like you are a human being.

And foreclosure laws are BS, hell in most of the US, hundreds of thousands of people haven't paid their mortgages for the last 2 years without getting foreclosed on because they know the banks defrauded them... and the banks know it...

Banks need to be raided, not private homeowners.

So now the banks are taking the law into their own hands, and hiring thugs to enforce their rules.

Looks like it has become official policy in Florida, that the banks can now write their own laws.

Free market economics are starting to take over our country, and establish a communistic system, as intended. Those who support free market economics, are succeeding in turning the U.S. into a communist nation.

wouldn't it be nice if the Anonymous group and affiliates hacked the bankers deleting their records then they would be in same boat as all of us. Poor elites bank and stock accounts all showing $0 balance and no records found that show they own their property. Numbered Swiss and off-shore accounts all showing $0 balance.

Gee, so any thug can wait for you to leave, go in, trash your house, steal whatever they want to steal, and as long as they claim you owe them money, it is a civil matter, and your only recourse is to sue?

Or is this supposed to be a special privilege that only banks possess?

Not sure hows Florida law works, but from my understanding, and what the lawyer explained in the video, the bank needed a court order to go into the guys house. Otherwise it is breaking and entering, and a host of other criminal acts, and several people should go to jail.

Of course, if the police are in the pockets of the bank, then I guess laws don't count.

If there was no court order stating that the mortgage company or their agents were allowed access to remove property to settle the debt then the police would intervene. Alternately if there was no clause in the mortgage contract allowing the mortgage company to secure property in order to bring the loan current the police would intervene.

In this case what the mortgage company did was legal (although disgusting IMO).

Can anyone explain why the police should break the law when there are 1000 threads a week on how police are scum of the earth for breaking the law?

Please note that I am not debating the morality of the mortgage company's actions- just stating that if the police intervened they would be doing what everyone on this forum trashes them for doing- breaking the law.

You don't know his intentions...the video said that he had gone away for a few weeks. Maybe they're unemployed and went to stay with family in another part of the country to find work.

Plus, the reporter said at the end that there were no foreclosure proceedings in effect, he was just behind.

Also, it takes a special kind of heartless vindictiveness to trash personal effects, like a wedding dress. I wonder what they did to the picture albums.

Ladies and Gentlemen-

Please take a GOOD look at your mortgage documents. You've got a 1 in 5 chance of finding a clause allowing the mortgage company or subsequent note holder to seize items from your home in order to bring a delinquent account current without legal proceedings being instituted against you. These chances go higher if you used a mortgage broker.

If you signed the mortgage, like the OP did, then you have no recourse if you fall behind in payment. Not reading the document is not a defense against the note holder doing exactly what they said they were going to in the document that you sign.

Sneaky... yes. Immoral... yes. Legal... yes.

Woman loses parrot and house ransacked by Bank of America

Chase Bank ransacked dying man's home

This tearing up folks homes on behalf of a mortgage company is not new or isolated. I think the mortgage companies are free to act like the villains they really are by destroying homes and stealing people's property within those homes.

You make a good point...and notice I did say charges could be filed, but the homeowner had to do it...then the cops will act on the valid warrant...some places have laid off so many cops they dont respond to crimes anymore(Oakland published a list of what they dont handle...you file the report on line)interfering in a civil matter gets them sued and you can bet, like someone else said, there is a clause in their mortage....and if the guy was gone for weeks, who knows who hit his house?Ive learned on here you dont always get the entire story up front....lots of facts, like mortage language, gets left out....
