So, what would happen to Earth if a Nibiru / Planet X / Wormwood / ELEnin was approaching?

This whole subject is a very slippery slope for both sides of the argument. Those who believe tend to rely on spiritual feelings and actual facts but facts that can be debated. In whole, there is actually a good argument that there really is a dwarf star incoming, I hate to say that but it is true and science itself lends that as a possibility. Not truth, not for certain but at this point, I would scold you from completely ruling it out.

Those who do not believe have just as strong an argument, there is science behind some of the better objections but in planetary science things change rapidly as we struggle to understand the universe we live in and how heavenly bodies interact. Change on this level happens rapidly and is always evolving.

There are things on earth, both natural and man made that don't make sense in this time in our existence, we do not have the knowledge to say for sure if this is a natural cycle of Earth or something more serious, we simply do not have the data to point to fact on many of the subjects that have been touched on in this thread.

There is no need to fight, the subject is and will be dynamic in that it will resolve itself with time, use that time to bring your life to meet your beliefs without extreme action and understand that largely, whatever is happening with Earth, we are powerless to change it, enjoy the ride, because it will happen regardless.

This object could be exerting an electromagnetic effect now. Noticed some recent plane crashes that had no good explanation, esp. locally.

May try to build a faraday cage for my computer. It's not valuable, but the work effort in the build is worth hours of time. Dual boot, Linux and windows xp, even have defend reloaded on the windows partition for dos games.

I plan to be locked and loaded no later than Sept. 10 for this object. I think it could knock out the electrical grid. So maybe bank teller machines down, withdrawal limits, power outages, stock market closure.

Food, water, also,.. might check if you can get a month or two advance on prescription meds. Personally do not intend to respond to any "knock and talks". May pick up a few extra hours as private security guard. But who's going to watch my place? Remember this object could be the one from the Great Flood times and later the days of darkness from Exodus.

Well, well, well... Five pages and the OP still hasn't been able to explain why a comet would cause "massive animal die offs," earthquakes or anything else they mentioned. Just repeating the same ridiculous claims doesn't make them true. While we wait for some kind of logic or evidence, let's rehash some of the Doom Patrol's other talking points.

You would have massive animal die offs as earths pole began more rapidly to shift and also as result of our electromagnetic field being disrupted by the foreign body.

Why? And even if there were a connection, why only some species in particular place? Why just one species of bird in a particular town in, say, Texas? Why not all of the birds in that town? Or all the birds of that species all over the world.

There also is a very, very sharp increase in earthquakes

In other words, this is not a complete list of earthquakes, so using the data to chart the frequency of earthquakes over time is intellectually dishonest, as the Horizon Project no doubt knows, but you, apparently do not.

And there is a good argument to be made that something IS effecting other planets in our solar system, Pluto turning red, massive storms on Saturn, etc.

Okay, so let's suppose that Comet C2010X-1 really is a ball of rust. How does that rust escape it's gravity field? You're the ones claiming it is "massive." Do iron filings fall up and drift away into space? No. And even if they did, why would they cause Pluto to turn red? Elenin has never been anywhere near Pluto:

As for brown dwarfs being invisible: they are massive planets composed principally of hydrogen, just like Jupiter. They reflect light just like Jupiter. Unlike Jupiter, they also emit infra-red radiation. Heat. The ones that have been detected so far have been difficult to see because they are so far away! Dozens of light-years.

Not once have I claimed a comet is causing massive animal die offs.

I listed some obvious Earth changes we are most certainly experiencing, not repeating any "ridiculous claims"....

I don't know what is causing these changes, but evidence points towards a large, heavy object coming through.

The Debunk Patrol could use some "back to basics" training apparently. You get more with sugar than spice you know

While many logically concern themselves with what will happen to the earth when such a massive object approaches, I contend that we as humans should be more concerned with what will happen to humans when such objects pass so close to earth.

The electric and magnetic properties of such a massive object I believe is already having negative effects on our birds, fish and animals that have been reported as dying in large numbers around the world. It is their animal deaths that started me looking into magnetic influences and what I learned, concerns me.

When a massive object the size of Nibiru passes so close to earth, there will come a moment when the earth's poles will be effected by the massive object and that is when we could suffer a pole shift or a magnetic reversal of our poles.

While these facts have been acknowledged by professionals, it is the impact on the human body that no one has discussed in detail how such a massive object is going to effect humans.

Some say that because of the massive mass of the object possesses such a great electromagnetic properties is why some experts claim that the human consciousness and our human brains will be negatively effected by the passing of such a massive object so close to earth.

These same pundits claim we could suffer a form of electromagnetic amnesia of the brain and it would be so pervasive that many may not know or remember who they are moments after being negatively effected. Some say a type of major memory easure could occur

To assist in becoming more informed about the negative effects of high frequency electromagnetism and sustained exposure to electromagnetic frequencies on the human body and brain, I would ask that you visit the links provided and become better informed about how magnetic influences negatively effect the human body and the human consciousness.

So while many ponder the effects on the earth of such a massive object, I ponder the effects on the human body because while everyone can easily see the earthquakes, volcano's, tsunamis, strange weather and jet stream patterns with land forming hurricanes and killer tornadoes, we better start thinking about and considering what such a massive object is going to do the the human physiology of those humans that are exposed to the increased and sustained magnetic properties of such a massive object.

what would happen? nobody here can tell you for sure what would happen. they will speculate like crazy. wait im sorry, one thing for sure will happen. people will panic and go into mass hysteria. other than that no one can definitely say or provide substantial proof one way or another.

i would also like to add another thing for sure. people will debunk it like crazy and call it a hoax.

I've not really read much into this but I'm quite interested to find out more.
I'm in Scotland and me and my friends are all agreeing the weather has taken a really odd turn.
Right now there's a thunderstorm going on that sounds like a jet is above the building.
Had another about two days ago that was the same but between that I've been getting sunburn (something that really doesn't happen in Scotland that much I can assure you.. I look like I'm now permanently wearing two long white socks from being out in shorts a few days ago..)
Could this comet/planet be causing this?

~ We would be able to see climate changes in all planets in the solar system, A increase in storms and like you said chaotic weather patterns, plus we already know global warming is happening on most of the planets in the solar system. Are these observable changes that are occurring because of Elenin or some other unknown factor?
~ We could expect this body when it passed through the Oort Cloud to pick up asteroids and or comets and it would drag them with it deeper into the solar system. We would expect a rise in meteor and comets associated with this body. Did it pass through the Oort Cloud?
~ We would expect to see more seismic activity solar system wide including earthquakes and volcanism..
~ We would expect changes in the Sun perhaps as little as a wobble like what planets that tug on the sun make.
~ Depending on the density and composition of Elenin, what changes or affects could it make to our magnetosphere? The changes happening recently to our shield could be because of Elenin or is it a coincidence?

Elenin a comet or not whats been going on in the world lately with the nuclear power plants has convinced me that nuke energy is not safe and should be discontinued.

pretty good article on the solar system. and in reading the whole article it points out how much is still yet undiscovered in our own solar system. they just found out the heliosphere isnt just an invisible line where it ends but rather a bunch of foaming bubbles. do they know what they are? not exactly but they do speculate on it. and speculation is far from fact.

Not really, Scottish weather isn't as bad as it's made out to be.
It's being a lot more extreme as of late, like I said loads of people have been getting sunburn and we've had a few sudden storms. Going to the car and the sun is blazing then suddenly hard rain.
Has been some moments of normal weather between but the thunderstorms aren't that common.
So far this week there's been about three.

(Just heard that apparently a rail bridge nearby has been struck by lightening in a big way, rumors that the panel hit is now black instead of red and the trains are stuck to the rail. Not saying this is true because I haven't found any stories on it yet but did find this to show his unexpected the weather has been, local.stv.tv... )

Tell you what - it would be so exciting that it would put Six Flags outta business.

you do the math, 6 billion people on earth, 144k survive this as per the bible. There have been maps draw up on safe areas. Unfortunely FEMA camps litter the land scape there already in the US. Stay West ot the Mississippi valley and East of the Rockies more South is better, but to close to the coast and you'll be swept away. Underground will be the only place you will be able to live.
